North Texas Appliance Repair

He arrived in a timely manner and kept us up-to-date with his arrival time. The refrigerator that he showed up to repair was a Kenmore unit and he thought it might require parts he did not have. After his payment was received and departure, the refrigerator acted up again about a week later we spoke with Sears and they informed us it is a compressor that was out and nothing else. Due to the fact that the unit is still under a warranty we had no choice but to wait for Sears to fix the problem. By the way we are still waiting.......... Talking with Sears today, we have the compressor but not the service tech yet. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SEARS/KENMORE PRODUCT AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE. This is in no way a reflection on James....His hands were tied and compressors were on National Back Order till early this week.

James responded to the service call the same day but the problem could not be fixed as I needed a new compressor. He had to call in a professional, Victor, with a substantially higher cost of $752 to replace compressor since James is not certified to handle freon. Victor came out the following day and replaced the compressor. I had to use my neighbor's freezer to store my food and all was saved. I'm happy with the quick response and fairness of James' fee, especially since I live out in the styx and is hard to find service reps for my area. Thank you for your service.

I found it unusual that this service provider did not accept credit cards, and shortly after leaving I received a call from a check cashing place asking me to verify the checks. Is there not a banking account for this company? Companies run like this usually don't last very long.

Repairman came put to fix my microwave problem. He never turned on my appliance, but diadnosed a problem from my description. Needless to say, the recommebndation did not work. I still had the problem after paying him.

James charged me $185 for diagnosis and a part for my oven and it still does not work. I've called him several times about this problem and it is still not resolved! Will never ever use him again.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was knowledgable and able to diagnose and complete the repair at a reasonable price. I will definitely call North Texas Appliance Repair the next time I need an appliance repair.

I made an appt with North Texas. They arrived at my home and in 3 min. were done. They wrote down a part # and left. I had someone else at the house to let them in and pay them. They did not ask for payment. I then received a phone call from the office and they began yelling at me stating that I refused to pay them. This was not true. I offered to pay them by Credit Card on the phone. They said no I had to send a check and when they received payment they would then order my part. Then just hung up on me. I was able to get them paid that day and they stated they ordered the part. I have not ever heard back from them as of today.

I had my Ice maker quit working on my refrigerator. James came out 4 times. Installed the wrong part twice. Filled up my freezer with water and left my wife to clean it up. He didn't show on two appointments and we had to call him to find out he wasn't comming. He also left the ice maker on with all the water in it and the refrigerator had to defrost for 4 days just to open the freezer door. I had to hire someone from another company to fix the problem. I would highly suggest for the sake of your business to not use James for any future jobs.

I will never use anyone else.

The vendor that was sent to repair my oven was very polite, courteous and respectful, very knowledgeable of what he was doing. I was very pleased with his service.
