Northern Michigan Flooring

Before hiring I read a past review of Julio taking someones money and not finishing the job but since there were good reviews I ignored it. Well, I paid him a $2000 deposit in September and after a month of excuses he started the job, destroyed all of my baseboards, and then abandoned the job. I have tried for months to get him to finish it but he eventually stopped responding. He left me with a house full of garbage and so much damage that having someone make repairs and finish the job costs thousands more than Julios original quote. He can not be trusted with your money or your home.

Julio Gomez, The owner of Northern Michigan, Flooring came to our house, gave us an estimate for vinyl and carpet installation and requested $3000 for deposit. We gave him the deposit. He made all kinds of excuses of why he couldn t make it; even coming 2 times asking for more money even when he hadn t done anything. He sent 1 worker to tear out the carpet and he left it on our lawn for 3 months. Part of the agreement was taking away garbage. We finally told him he was done with the job and requested our money back. We are still waiting for that.

Julio gave us an estimate for carpeting and vinyl installation. He requested $3000 for a deposit and we gave that. For three months. He gave excuses of why he couldnâ t do the job and even came back two times asking for more money. We finally fired him after three months of excuses and ask for money back. We are still waiting for that. Do not hire him.

We were very happy with our experience with Julio. He worked hard, fast and got the project done in the exact time he estimated. We look forward to hiring him again soon to do another room in our home. Great service !

They are very fair with their prices. They do a phenomenal job. I am so happy with the way the tile ended up looking. The customer service was incredible, they are very nice and I will be recommending this company to anyone getting any flooring/work done. I canâ t wait to have them come back and install my carpet!
