I contracted them to install a metal roof on my house. I purposely asked if they have ever installed a metal roof and they assured me they were capable and have installed many metal roofs. We signed the contract July 2017. They said they would install the roof in the fall. I gave them $5000.00 to purchase the materials. I contacted them in November asking when they were going to do my roof and they said December. I asked how they were going to do it in December, they said they would sweep the snow off the roof. Mid December they said they were going to do it in the spring. Spring rolled around and I ran into them and they said they were going to do the job in a couple of weeks. They came by on their way to pick up the building permit. When he came back from applying for the permit, he said he needed an additional $5000.00 over his original bid because he had to put down furring strips and insulation. They were my middle bid, now they were my highest by over $3000.00. Now I have $5000.00 of metal roofing sitting in my yard and nobody wants to use this material to put on my roof.
