I asked for them to come at a specific time instead of a window of time, and they agreed and came exactly at the time we agreed.

The customer service was very satisfactory

They were prompt (showed up early), very good explanation of services, completed promptly, and was very clean area when complete.

First the appointment time was not followed, arrived 2 hours early. Estimate changed upon arrival. Estimate never included discussion of shape of house which would be a $100 additional cost. Customer service was "take it or leave it". He was very gruff. Leaving without cleaning the back patio area. Never returning calls or emails.

The young man who did the work, Ronnie, was wonderful! He did a thorough job, left everything clean, was courteous and easy to talk to. Also, Peter, is very responsive, accessible, knows the business. I will definitely call on Northstar again in the future. I recommend this company highly. Thank you very much.

The owner, Peter, is professional, polite and responsive. He followed up his employees' work by making a call (even on Sunday. the work was done on Saturday) to check up whether we are satisfied with the work performed. didn't introduce thenselves. I had to ask if they were from Northstar. When cleaning roof, only used blower to blast leaves out of gutters, did not use water to flush out drainspouts. Leaves all over back yard from Magnolia tree. Asked them to clean them up, and asked if I had a broom to do so. I told them just put in pile, my gardener would do it next day. Did not give me a receipt...told me one would be mailed to me. Not very professional all the way around. Will not use them again.

Project: Repair leak in fireplace and clean gutters. I am extremely pleased with the work done at my home. I am a very hands on, look over the shoulder type and Peter stayed in contact with me during the entire process and when I had any inquiries or concerns they were handled promptly and professionally. Peter went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the work and 100% satisfied. The final question, would I call them again to do work on my fireplace or gutters, YES!

The service was professional, courteous and thorough. The service personnel did a good job at cleaning the gutters and were careful with the surroundings while performing the job.

Everything was really good but the price was a bi more than my neighbours paid for the similar service. I am very happy with service overall.

The individuals that did my chimney cleaning were very knowledgeable and were on time. They took their time and did a great job. Made suggestions to burn cleaner and did not leave a mess. They did a great fireplace inspection and I would use them again.

They added gutter guard. The owner sent a link on what to purchase at Home Depot to get ready for the installation.

I found this company on HomeAdvisor, I usually cautious about a Co. that has only few but 5 stars review. not with Northstar. Customer service was excellent, I got a response w/ a 7 pages of detailed descriptions of the materials & job scope within couple minutes after I submitted a request @ 10 p.m. Peter is polite, professional, cleaned up after job. He even take a special trip to put a cover that was missing on my other exhaust before the day supposed to rain. He is awesome, look no further. He also will come back in 1 year to do a free follow up.
