Worst possible outcome of exterior paint job. I hired Rich and OG painting to paint exterior trim and expressed my concern about safe lead removal as I have a toddler and baby. He assured us that he worked safe and was lead certified even listing some safe practices. He and his crew were so reckless in the paint removal, they left lead paint chips scattered throughout my property. They didnt use masks, plastic tarps and tape to catch the chips, or hepa vacuums and didn't clean up daily. When my husband questioned them they tried to remove visible evidence of paint chips by using a leaf blower, spreading even more lead through my yard where my kids play! Eventually we did make them clean up most of the paint chips but of course they couldn't get everything. My 1 year old now has an elevated lead level upon recent testing, which we believe to be related to the work they did. We've had the state do a comprehensive visit and soil test and are filing a complaint about OG Painting with the Maine DEP and Home Advisor. Their practices were dangerous, reckless and unsafe. Do not use this company.
