? October, 2024: Our gas fireplace was in working order and was used daily over the course of a month. However, because we recently moved into our house, we decided to retain OHA Home Services ("OHA") to clean and service the fireplace for annual maintenance purposes. ? 11/01/2024: OHA sent a technician (Brendan Kelly) to our home to clean and service the fireplace. We were invoiced $290 for the services and paid the invoice. ? 11/02/2024: We attempted to use our fireplace, but it kept shutting off. I contacted OHA to advise them of the issue. ? 11/04/2024: OHA technician sent Mr. Kelly back to our home to inspect the fireplace. Mr. Kelly got the fireplace working properly for 15 minutes but could not determine the cause of the problem. OHA did not charge us for this visit. OHA did provide a zero-balance invoice on which Mr. Kelly stated: ?If problem persists with batteries installed then I would Suggest replacedment of the ignition control module. Work was scheduled quickly and time frame was set and tech showed up on time and the inspection was very thorough. A bad electric switch was also replaced. I would use them again.

Showed up within the timeframe and called ahead to let me know they would be there shortly which was appreciated. Explained work to be done and made sure to use shoe booties before entering the home. Explained service contract that I placed on both HVAC's and the cost which in my opinion was very reasonable for biannual checkup. My only comment is since I did sign up for their maintenance plan I would expect to receive an email acknowledging this service other than the invoice for work performed. I am not sure if they will be in contact with me to remind me to schedule these appts since it was not done at time of repair or if I am just expected to call.
