Old School Concrete & Restoration LLC

We hired Old School Concrete to pour a slab for our storage shed. He was friendly, efficient and did a great job! I would definitely recommend him!

We hired Rod in Dec 2024 to remodel our house. Since the remodel, we have had to pay to get the furnace ducts all replaced or repaired as, they were damaged when the wood floor was being installed. The sprinkler control box should have been moved over 12", they cut the line and later attached it 20' from the original location where there was no electrical outlet. We had to have the unit rewired and the box replaced. When we tried to turn on the AC unit that was installed, we found that it had not been wired correctly and we had to pay to rewire the unit. We filed a claim for the replacement of the roof and we were unable to get him to give us the information the insurance needed to close the claim. In July 2025, we worked with the building inspector and the insurance adjuster to get the claim closed. The roof (metal) job is ugly. He "purchased" the washer, dryer, and fridge from my 95 year old mother who had been living in the house. To this day he has not paid her a cent.

We hired Rod to put in level subfloors throughout our whole house, to seal up a couple of doors/doorways, and to do some concrete work around the edge of the house to help seal from water drainage into the cellar. We were quoted 2 weeks. We weren't living in the house yet because we just bought it and wanted the work done before we moved in. First thing is the floors are not level at all in a lot of places, him and his crew SMOKED CIGARETTES IN MY HOUSE (I have 3 young children and he knew that) had my heat turned up while having all the outside doors wide open, didn't put the new floor flush with the walls at all, used scrap half rotten wood to support the new floor, only worked maybe a half day every day. After 2 and a half weeks, he still wasn't done, that's when I found about the smoking and the heat. I fired him on the spot. His excuse of why they smoked in MY HOME was that "it's a construction site". To say I am livid with this company is an understatement. Do NOT ever hire this man. He will lie and promise things he can not deliver. He will over charge you too.
