Reviews
Write a ReviewDonâ t use. Theyâ re very dishonest. I reserved this move more than a month in advance and at the time according to them, they were wide open. They Showed up 6 hours late for the move and gave me 3 different unsolicited excuses as to why. 1.) Ninu called to tell me their first move ran late and only would be maybe 30mins - an hour late. 2.) Then hours later someone else called to say his guys had trouble with a couch that was too big and got stuck. 3.) movers finally showed up 6 hours later and said their boss threw in an extra move between their first move and mine. In addition, I paid for 2 wardrobes to move my clothes and they did not bring them. They wrapped my clothes in cellophane to transport. The movers were super nice but the company lies and had zero regard or respect for my time. My original schedule move time was 1:00pm. Ninu called and asked for an additional 30 mins - a hour max. Movers showed up at 6:30pm. I had to reserve the elevator from 3-6 with 6:00 being closing time at my new building weeks prior. And beg them to stay beyond closing time to get my move done that night. I informed Ninu of this. The disregard and lack of respect, well disappointed doesnâ t come close to describing my feelings.
This company ended up costing me WAY more than the $1,500 I paid them to move into my new apartment. They completely ruined my $9,000 Restoration Hardware couch. There was a giant hole in it and several parts of it were completely black. I had to go to Restoration Hardware and order a new f*ing $9,000 couch because of them!!! They told me that their insurance would cover the damages. 5 months later I receive an email saying they're going to mail me a $90 check. LIVID. They ruined my floors in several spots and messed up my drywall - I'm in a brand new unit. I'm going to have to pay for that when I move out! They also broke one of my computer monitors. In total I'm probably looking at a $11,500 is what I REALLY paid for this move. Also, after they left I found several pieces of art amongst our things that weren't ours! They must have still had them in the truck from the last move!!! These guys pay no attention to detail and they don't know what they're doing. I watched the guy pick up my couch by himself and slide it across the hardwood floors. They came back to fix the drywall, but after it dried you can clearly tell it was a hack job, so I'm going to have to pay for that. These guys just suck. Don't use them.
On Demand Movers is the best moving experience I ever had
