Alex explained what he was doing every step of the way.

Alex Ortega told me that for a $75.00 service fee. He will locate the leak. He even added that it could be a problem small as just turning a simple knob to fix the leak, he promised to be at my house from 11:00 am to 12:00 PM I was surprised when he called me the next morning and said he will be there sooner then 11:00 am. He said that he had a cancelation and that he could come early. He arrived to my house with an associate, a young man that he called Jr, I stood at my A/C with Alex and Jr. Alex used a wireless app to f out if the A/C system had any Freon, he told me... yes you right you do not have any Freon in your A/C! He asked to go inside my house to check the tank connected to the A/C. He found no leek, he asked, did you check the filters? I said yes the filter is clean he said you have 3 options as to how I can check the leak. I said well... within the service please find an option to find the leak. Then I walked back downstairs, leaving Alex and his associate upstairs unattended, Alex and the associate come downstairs and Alex said, Over the phone, I told you, that I will tell you about options within the first hour. I looked up to him then I said... for $440.00 you are going to do what? Alex said I will check for the leek and fill your tank with Freon. I told Alex for $440.00 go ahead and fill my tank with Freon. Alex said ok and he said he will not charge me the service fee. His exact words were I will just eat that! He went back outside with his partner and I believe he was filling my A/C tank with the exact appropriate amount of Freon. Minutes later, less than 5 minutes later, he entered my home for payment. He quoted $380.00. I handed him, cash the amount he asked for. He showed me how to sign the receipt on his phone. He reminded me that I had a slow leek, it could be another 3 years before it goes out again. When I contacted angi to file a complaint, Alex returned my call he promised to refund $380.00 within the next seven days. Alex decided not to refund me. Not once during my phone conversation with Alex on July 14th, 3 days after he serviced my A/C, nor did he attempt to apologize or offer to resolve the problem, instead, during the July 14th conversation he said, I knew she was going to be a problem the moment I met her... On July 14th, an Angi representative heard the entire conversation between myself and Alex. At this point Alex is refusing to refund me.
