They rebuilt my deck and added a fire pit. We were very pleased and they completed all the work on time. Oasis did an excellent job.

The contractor contacted us through Angi's List and represented himself as honest, reliable, and communicative. We explained upfront that we had recently experienced serious issues with a broker and movers and were specifically seeking a professional contractor to avoid further problems. The contractor visited the property to review the scope of work. A second visit occurred with another individual who took measurements and advised on project timing. We entered into a contract with an agreed-upon completion timeframe of approximately 5 6 weeks. Shortly after work began, communication became inconsistent. The contractor represented that materials had been ordered for the project. We later confirmed this was not true. Despite repeated written requests, the contractor failed to provide clear updates, timelines, or proof that materials had been purchased. The contractual completion deadline passed with substantial work incomplete. Workers left the property and removed their tools, creating the appearance that the job had been abandoned. No clear explanation or written plan was provided regarding when or how work would resume. Worker Nonpayment Escalation. We were contacted directly by the contractor's workers, who stated they had not been paid and that a $2,000 check issued to them had bounced. This raised serious concerns about professionalism, reliability, and potential risk to us as homeowners. At no point did the contractor adequately address these concerns in writing. Concerns Regarding Specific Worker (Luis) Luis, who had previously performed electrical work, behaved in an unprofessional manner. We made clear that we do not consent to Luis performing any further work on our property in any capacity. Despite this, the contractor attempted to reassign him to complete the remaining work without our approval. Final Communication and Termination After a continued lack of response, misrepresentations regarding materials, missed deadlines, and worker nonpayment issues, trust was irreparably broken. We issued written notice terminating the contract, revoking access to the property, and requesting an accounting of payments, work completed, and materials purchased. All further communication was requested to be in writing only. Summary The contractor failed to meet contractual obligations, misrepresented material purchases, ignored written communications, and allowed the project to stall. Worker nonpayment and bounced checks created additional risk and instability. Due to these cumulative issues, termination of the contract was necessary and justified. The contractor visited the property twice, took measurements, and we entered into a contract with a 5 6 week completion timeline. Soon after work began, communication became inconsistent. Due to misrepresentation regarding materials, lack of written documentation, missed deadlines, repeated payment requests without transparency, worker nonpayment issues, and an overall breakdown of trust, we terminated the contract in writing and revoked access to our property. We are seeking accountability, reimbursement for payments made for incomplete work, and appropriate action to help prevent similar experiences for other homeowners.

Very professional. Preston's employees are true craftsman. Very detailed and precise. They tore down my old decks and builder one large deck in its place. Their work was so professionally done in both the tear down and the new build. My next door neighbor even told me, after everything was complete, that she barely heard them working. Preston was very involved and came by regularly to make sure the work was going smoothly and to go over any details we might need. We love our new large deck. Thank you Preston, thank you Maestro!

I hired Oasis General Contracting to tear down and build a new deck and screen it in. They did a great job and helped me obtain the city permit needed. The crew was on time, friendly and got the deck done on time even with 3 rain days. The owner, Preston was always available with any questions I had and got back to me right away. The project exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Oasis for any of your deck needs.

We needed to have our front porch and back deck, and a block retaining wall, redone after a previous contractor had done an inadequate job. We also wanted a small amount of fencing added. Oasis came in, inspected what was needed, detailed what they would do, the approximate timeline, and the estimated cost. Once agreed upon they started within a few days. The work went relatively quickly, the crew was friendly, we were able to some modifications and additions on the fly. (Like adding a concrete slab by the deck for the grill.) The work was done to our satisfaction and beyond. And the communication/updates were timely. We’re very pleased with the results. We would definitely recommend Oasis and have a future project we will contact them about in the new year.

Preston from Oasis General Contracting is the MAN! Props to him and his amazing crew! His “customer’s always right” mantra made sure the process was painless and worry-free. I wanted a deck that stretched the length of our home, and he correctly suggested what we make half of it a covered patio. I’m siting here at night in said patio enjoying the fruits of their labor. Now we have to buy better patio furniture to match the craftsmanship of this deck and patio. Looking forward to hiring them again.

Very well Finished under estimated completion time in spite of rain. Deck is well done, sturdy and up to code. Love the trex product.

We had 2 decks and 2 sets of steps replaced w/trex and metal spindles on railings. We also did 2 tone pattern on deck floors. The project was completed in 6 days in spite of being a very rainy week. Contractor was easy to work w and reach if needed. Our decks were very old and not up to code. Now everything is up to code and extremely sturdy and stylish. The yard was thoroughly cleaned up at the completion of the project. Oasis prices were far below other companies we contacted as well and the quality of the work was excellent. We couldn’t be happier with the final result!

I recently hired Oasis to install a retaining wall in my backyard, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, every step of the process was handled with professionalism and attention to detail. The crew arrived on time daily and worked efficiently and maintained excellent communication throughout the project. They helped me pick out the right stones for the wall. I really appreciate not only the work that Mr. Preston did but the wonderful kindness that he showed my family and me. I am 81 years old and I have encountered young men about his age who displayed attitudes and disrespect that was not pleasant. He took time to explain everything that would be done to complete the job and he was so very nice every time we spoke. He was a blessing that provided everything I needed to make my cemented area just like I wanted it! I have already recommended him to two family friends and I will do the same anytime. His price was reasonable and estimate was better than any others that we received. I will be calling on him again.

Preston is stand up guy. His crew laid sod for my front yard. Although there a mixup of sod planted, Preston resolved it and made all good which at the end of the day made a happy customer.

Upon seeing my neighbor's deck and the quality of the workmanship completed by Oasis General Contracting I decided to engage them to have my deck installed and am glad I did! Preston (owner) assured me that he would oversee the project and be there each day each day until it was completed . Preston was very personable and professional. He kept me informed of every step of the project and he made himself available to me anytime day or night. The workmen were expert craftsmen, and the project exceeded my expectations!
