When he called me to schedule the job, I told him that I needed it done soon before I turned on my heat. He was able to give me 2 different days within the week to get it done. He also gave me a clear understanding of what the project would cost. On the scheduled day, he showed up on time and got right to work. When he started he knew exactly what had to be done and knew exactly how to do it and didn’t waste any time. In the middle of the project he found a potential problem with my chimney and after he was done cleaning it, took the extra step to investigate it with his camera system. When he confirmed what he thought, he clearly told me what he found and the options and the associated costs that were available to me. He also cleaned up before he left, even some dirt that he didn’t create. He was friendly and courteous. I know that I was very happy and impressed by him and his work. So much so that I already have him booked for next year. I would highly recommend him, just don’t be like me and wait until the last minute to get your job scheduled because he basically did me a huge favor by coming out so quickly. AAA service..

Terry came to my house and climbed halfway on the roof and took pics. He made an appt to return and do measurements. 2 days before the date he sent me a text telling me that the job was too big for him and my roof was too steep. He called off the job.

Project : Replace Chimney Cap Terry did a great job removing the old chimney cap and installing a new one on my 3 1/2 story steeply sloped roof. 5 star rating.

Professional, honest, friendly, knowledgeable. Terry and his crew were no nonsense from start to finish. When i recieved the bid from Home Guard for a complete demo and reconstruct chimney, it was better than 50% less than his competition quoted prices. When i asked what his available was, he was ready in a day to start the job. Terry and crew were finished with the entire job down to clean up in a day and a half. Nice job Terry and thankyou!

Be careful. After discussing the job, Terry showed up with his vacuum cleaner even though I had not said he had the job. To be fair, I may have said something that made him assume the job was his. He was professional and thorough. After checking the information Terry gave me with my oil provider's chimney specialist, I was informed that some of the comments Terry made about the chimney needing a new liner at the cost of $1,700, were unfounded.

They were nice people, on time, and explained everything to me. They also recommended what I needed to do to eliminate the problem in the future.
