A tech came to fix the microvave. Did not have all the parts. He told me he would have to carge another service fee if he cam out to the house again. I will not use their services again.

Overall, I had a good experience. Brian was out one of is workers due to injury which made it a bit difficult to get an oven fixed but Brian always returned my calls and he did get to the property to fix the issue as promised. I have a good feeling that, if he hadn't been without a main employee for that week, the issue would have been resolved in a day or so. He uses paypal/email for invoices which makes is nice and convenient to make payment.

the service from Brian and his associate was excellent. he not only gave me a very good product for a great price, he concerned that i got the best quality for my investment. it went a level above just selling me something, there was a component of genuine care and honesty that is not often experienced in the world in general and the business world even less so. thank you from myself and my family Brian!

Very Prompt and Proficient

Called him as my washing machine stopped moving from one cycle to the next . He quoted me 59.95 over the phone. Once here they said 79.95 ...explained not the quote and was chared 59.95 but they had to come back with part. I was charged 140.00 for the part. I called some supplies and the retail price to me was at max 104.00, so I guess that is how he got his 20.00 back and then some. I know they pay less and mark up the parts but that is quite a mark up

Brian diagnosed problem over the phone, thus saving me on an initial visit. He explained how I could save on project by defrosting refrigerator/freezer myself. His man was in and out in good time, and my freezer/refrigerator now work fine. I would definitely use Ocean State Appliance in the future and also recommend this company to others.

I had a range that was malfunctioning for over a year. I decided to finally have someone come out and take a look at it. I submitted my request, and Brian called me right away. I missed his call, but got back to him the next morning. He had a technician come out that afternoon! The technician was wonderful, very polite and professional. Brian knew right away that the ignitor had gone on the range and quoted me a price. The job was done, the oven worked, and there were no hidden fees or "extras". My faith in service repair companies has been restored & I will be calling Brian again for future projects! Thanks again for exceptional service!

We purchased the washer from Morrone Electric in Westerly (first mistake), then contacted them for service. Their service provider, Reale and Peloquin, told us it would take nine days to get to us. They called us on the eighth day and said that they were going on vacation and it would be another 4-5 days, but they would order the part that they thought they might need (without looking at the washer). Ocean State sent out a service tech on the morning that we called them.He disassembled the washer, cleaned it, and put it back together, and it has worked great since. Reasonable, personable, realiable - wouldn't hesitate to contact them again.

NEVER AGAIN! wHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SIMPLE REPAIR WAS ANYTHING BUT A SIMPLE REPAIR. lONG STORY SHORT, THE REPAIR MAN NOT ONLY DID NOT REPAIR MY OVEN, HE ALSO BUSTED THE LOCK ON MY FRONT DOOR. iT WAS A LOCK THAT CAN BE OPERATED BY ANYONE WITH A THIRD GRADE EDUCATION. APPARENTLY, HE DID NOT HAVE A COMPRABLE EDUCATION. NOT ONLY DID HE BREAK THE LOCK, BUT HE LEFT THE FRONT DOOR WIDE OPEN IN DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE WITHOUT EVEN A PHONE CALL. AFTER ATTEMPTS AT CONTACTING THEM, NO ONE EVER RETURNED MY CALLS.
