HORRIBLE .. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. These so-called appraisers were assigned to do an appraisal on an investment property for me. The appraisal came back and it was UNDER by $100,000. We knew that it was bad and not near the value that was expected. When I called to ask why they were rude and aggressive on the phone and just horrible. The guy on the phone who said he was co-owner was Brett Hansen. The actual appraiser who said he was a co-owner was Richard Scott. The messed up appraisal was so low that we lost our rate lock and had to appeal the appraisal. They wasted so much of my time that I nearly lost the deal. We WON the appeal of course because it was bad. By then the rate had gone up so when I re-locked it was at a higher rate with a different lender. Turns out the rate lock won't hold if the appraisal comes in too low compared to the expected value. In the end, they lost the appeal because they were completely wrong. All they had to do was have a conversation with me on the phone and correct their error but the guy (Bret) was so rude and condescending towards me. He was like you are not an appraiser and you do not know what you are doing! and I said. I am an investor and It is clear, here is your error, it is not appraised correctly. He was not going to fix it and I told him I would write reviews on the web. I would appeal it. He stated he did not give So here is my review. HORRIBLE and should be avoided. One thing you should know when you do a loan is that these appraisers are assigned by a third party and you can tell them you do not want these clowns ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR DEAL. Simply put, they suck at appraising anything and if they were any good at it then their work would have held up when I fought it but it did not .. all they did was waste valuable time and almost killed the entire deal. In the end, I won but at a financial cost
