Will H and his team Corey B and Christian H, were polite professional redo my waterproofing my basement and, putting in a new sump pump. Will walk me through the whole process step by step if you had questions or if he had questions they were answered immediately the process was very smooth due to Will's knowledge and professionalism. What was thought to be a two-day job and ended up being a one-day job. I would hire Ohio basement authority if I again if I had any more problems and I'd certainly recommend them to anyone who does have a problem.

The company sent 3 polite young men to repair our leaking cracks in our basement wall. Ian, Allen, and Drake were wonderful. After repair they cleaned and swept the entire work area. They asked us several times if we were pleased. These three were monitored throughout the job by our lovely little Peanut. He watched then intently and they did not mind one bit.

The company sent a three man crew to do the job at my house. The men performed like a well oiled machine. They were polite and extremely professional at all times. Their names were Corey Bowling, Evan Roberts, and Damar Anderson. Who ever hire them was very smart to do so. These men are a great example for other teams within the company. I had three different estimates. Ohio Basment Authority was the most professional of them all. Patrick came and took the measurements and gave me several different options. He drew a sketch of my basment on his tablet and showed me exactly what was going to happen. He was not pushy to make a sale.I would like to personally thank the crew from Ohio Basment Authority. Bob G did a thorough inspection of our basement after we showed him our problem and gave us an estimate that day. Great guy! Team of Casey J, Bret B, and Allen-Michael T did a great job. Reassessed the job when an unusual situation with our footer was found, and changed the repair to a better solution. If I had to sum my review up: do not believe anything the CFI promises. They are no better than a car salesman and will make promises with no intention to keep them. This project was allegedly price matched, but still $600 more with no apparent product difference. Project details: Bid price 3978. 27 linear feet: inside wall 17 ft plus 3 ft around edges. Actual linear feet 23. Sump pump Freeze guard Trench for draining aproximately 30 feet When the crew got here, they had no idea about the gutters being buried that were supposed to be included. They broke into the floor drain during the initial breaking of the concrete floor and when they laid concrete they didn't seal the wall of the floor drain, the water is coming into the floor drain instead of the sump pump. They also tried to leave my drain cover buried in the drain covered with concrete. They also left concrete splashes everywhere. I was under the impression (again due to the CFI) that the part of the system visible over the concrete was supposed to be approximately 1/8th inch gap between the flange and the wall. I can understand it not being perfect, we are all human. It was about a whole inch. Which may not seem like much, however that looks terrible, not to mention the dirt and debris that can be introduced to the system. I hope that no visiting family lets their kid out of sight for a second, the poor thing could get his hand stuck, it is that far from the wall. I picked this company over the other offer based on the reviews and the alleged things included, honestly I was incredibly upset with the mediochre quality and low professionalism. Be sure to measure your walls yourself. I was charged 4 extra feet that was not installed and am still waiting on the refund. I understand the Cincinnati branch is new, I also don't think one branch should be giving such conflicting information when the company has uniform products. I will leave with this: I believe the workers did the best they could do. I commend them for pushing through the miscommunication and also the giant rock under the concrete floor. Overall, if and when I finish the other walls in the basement with water protection. I would rather do it all myself than hire this company again.

Kyle lockard was great and honest when he did the inspection and there was no high pressure selling. Just did what we needed done. The team worked really hard.... Had a few minor issues with the install. I called to get them corrected. Mitchel Spurlock came out and made everything right. What a nice honest guy with an awsome work ethic. I had OBA install outdoor french drains and new downspouts a couple of years before they waterproofed my basement. They were the only company I could find who did it all. Basement waterproofing included removing old, putting in new: full inside perimeter drainage, enlarge sump pit, 2 sump pumps, I-beams and carbon fiber straps. Added in brand new: battery backup for sump and vapor barrier on most affected wall. When my basement got wet a year later after the work was done, they didn't hesitate to schedule someone to inspect. If was heavy condensation, barely a thin puddle compared to 2 inches of flowing water. They had to rework a 6 ft section and add cement around the I-beams, each on their own call outs. They didn't charge because I have a lifetime warranty, transferable to the next owner. I'll be working with them again soon for a professional level dehumidifier.
