Atilio, Bryan and Jose were exceptional. They were fast and accurate with their work. They were polite and made sure to clean up the work site when they finished. I highly recommend Ohio Basement Authority. I had other companies quote encapsulating my crawl space but none showed the quality that OBA did.

Foundation Drainage Installation and Replacement
My problem is with Customer Service. The crew got the job done in 2 days, which is reviewed below and had to send the sidewalk crew to repair where they ran the drains out of my basement. They finished on a Friday, and I was told the crew would be back by the following Wednesday to repair my walkway. Nobody called on Monday to schedule or affirm the work, so I called Tuesday and was given Jeremy, who I was told was in charge of the city crews. They finished the drain and were paid in full on November 20, and finally poured the walk on December 10th, and were supposed to be back on the 11th to take the forms off, the blanket off, the plywood walkway off, but never showed up. I am handicapped and it is my only entrance and exit, so I had to wrestle it all off, and it lays beside the unfinished sump pump drain. I am sure negative comments are deleted. The crew with Q and the 2 other men did what appears to be a good clean install. They got the job done in 2 days. We have not had the big rains or winter events yet to judge if the water is actually controlled, but I assume there will be no water with a proper installation. So far with what we have had in southern Ohio has been handled by the system. Time will tell.

Crew of Julio, Allan and Pancho just departed after finishing a three-day project to solve my basement water problems. Efficient and very hard-working folk. The took meticulous care to clean up, avoid making any messes outside and in general went above and beyond all my expectations. These guys know what they're doing. The were polite, friendly and quite willing to explain what they were doing. Julio's 20 years of experience were very much in evidence. Highly recommended if you want your basement job done right!

I thought I was hiring Ohio basement authority I did so based on their reviews in awards but in fact as above September of 2019 they were purchased bye groundworks Corporation they did not advise me of that Long story short they did tens of thousands damage to my home I have 2 structural engineer reports finding all there mistakes in damage is to my home their main support beam failed bet my health set for a week without proper support Boeing floorboards in 2 rooms I now have to be replaced stay over lifted one room, they broke the state law my doing work without a building permit( front door wont open) they tried for 4 months adding new jacks jacking up higher so on and so on then will make a not fix their problems as they have no no structural engineer to advise him they offered me $6500 to release him from legal obligation I would gladly share these reports with anyone interested not all reviews Pryor 2 September 2019 should be removed from all websites

Field Inspector Jacob, who gave me the estimate, was professional, punctual, polite, and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. Josiah, Daniel, and Harold were the crew that installed the product. They were punctual, polite, and respectful. The clean-up at the end of the job was impeccable. I contacted them in regards to basement moisture. I hired them to bury two downspouts and run the drainage out the length of the yard. I was told I had to put money down that day or I would not get a tiny tiny discount on what I felt was overpriced. He literally followed me to the bank. When I asked for a receipt he told me he did not have a receipt booklet. I had to take a photo of the check. He said that his secretary would be sending me an invoice today or tomorrow at the latest with the payment on it and to schedule the work. It did not feel right. I should have listened to my gut as a women. I did not get any call or email for three days so I had to call to ask them to send me a receipt and schedule the appointment. After the work they left with no grate over the hole. He said he did not have one in the truck and I should be able to go to Lowe s and get one. You must be kidding me for what I paid them! The opening is big enough for rodents and small animals to crawl into. The yard was left with mounds of dirt that was mostly large rocks. Some of which I found thrown in my bushes later that day when watering them. I had to clean up all that by myself in 90 degree weather. I have a very large mound of rocks including a large wheelbarrow. I regraded it myself and will have to pay to put down seed myself as well. The cement work is extremely bad. It rained and the water pooled right by the step and ran down the foundation where I just paid a lot of money for them to fix. I called 3x in 5 days and still have no return call that someone will be out to fix it. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the character of this company. I will talk to the lawyer to get some of my money back.

Concrete Foundation Raise
The only downside was they had to jackhammer a concrete step which broke some concrete blocks in a retaining wall. However, I was told in advance that it would happen & that they did not do that repair. The work they did to my house fixed the dropped corner of the house , placed level markers & sealed the large crack so it is barely noticeable. They worked quickly & efficiently & pleasantly. I hope I dont need them again but if I do I would definitely call them.

Sump Pump or Interior Foundation Drains Installation
They installed it wrong the first time I had to take 3 days off work to get it right they had to redig the pit they bumped pipes made them leak. I was not there the first time as I was out of town they left the outside water hose running 3 days, they left trash all over, they made it right eventually and got a discount but I had to argue excessivly and threaten to call corporate to get it and cost me 3 days of work to oversee it to be sure it got done correctly

Inspection Service
Matt Thomas came to our home to inspect & advise on some basement flooding issues. We have had basement issues in our previous home with sump pump/flooding and did not use basement authority but this experience was leaps and bounds beyond that company, thanks to Matt's expertise. He was knowledgeable, professional, on time and respectful. He gave the reasons behind why things are done certain ways and explained pros and cons of each option for us. We ended up going with his recommendation and have services scheduled. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need.
