The workman were very professional. Before the actual repairs took place, I received a booklet from Basement Authority which did a lot of explaining about what happens to basements, etc , which was good education.

It's going to cost us $13,000 and our basement still is leaking water onto the floor. They had to go around our fuel tank and said that they were confident that there would not be water under it. It is currently damp underneath there and they won't warranty it because they had to go around it. But I took them at their word that going around it would not be an issue. They are suppose to be coming back to the house to evaluate the problem.

They used brake cleaner to clean their tools on my lawn and killed my grass

During your concrete lifting project, the crew inadvertently got the PolyLevel foam on a tool and needed to clean it before the foam set up so that they could continue installing your project. They correctly moved the tool away from any concrete which could be stained and cleaned it in the grass. Unfortunately, about one square foot of your grass turned brown after cleaning the tool. After you expressed your concerns via email, these concerns were forwarded to our Production Department. We dispatched the project foreman directly back to your home on Monday, April 24, 2017. The foreman arrived prepared with a roll of sod on his truck to replace the brown section of grass. Per your instruction, the foreman did not install the sod as the grass match did not meet your expectation. The foreman left, returned the same day with grass seed, and applied it to the area to your satisfaction. We at Ohio Basement Authority pride ourselves on delivering remarkable customer service that sets us apart from other companies. Great customer service, explained everything very thoroughly, completed the work in a timely fashion. Would definitely use again and recommend to others. UPDATE: Had to update my review a few months after my initial review. Everything with the basement is still satisfactory and was able to have another crew out to fix some lingering water issues free of charge. Unfortunately, have been waiting to get my yard regraded from the holes dug with the initial basement repair nearly 4 months ago! Called multiple times to set up an appointment but each time the department needed had "left for the day". One of my voicemails was finally returned and I was put on the schedule. Morning of appointment I was called and informed the crew was on an emergency job and it will be another month before their first availability! Yard not only looks terrible but is very unsafe with the holes so now I will have to fix the yard myself. Very unfortunate. Still a great company but very bad customer service on this particular issue. Update #2 Was contacted by the company about my updated review and a crew was sent out the same day even though it was raining all day. The work looks great! Thanks Ohio Basement Authority!

Great experience with Ohio Basement Authority. They were the most thorough out of the 4 companies I had come out and give me an estimate on our sewer repair. The estimator drew a layout of our back yard, explained the process, and even accounted for the temporary removal of our fence so their equipment could get through. No other company went to this level of detail. The estimators and techs were knowledgeable and polite, and took care to make sure I was aware of what they were doing during the entire process. I'm only knocking half a point off of the customer service rating because they haven't yet emailed me the pictures of the work as promised. Even though it's a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, I still think it's important to note. Overall I highly recommend Ohio Basement Authority.
