Joel arrived to evaluate our driveway for leveling, and had us a quote in no time. We approved the quote and the crew arrived to do the leveling job on time as scheduled. They did a fantastic job leveling our driveway, I would recommend them to anyone needing their driveway leveled.

1 / 2 We had a mixed, at best, experience with Ohio Basement Authority. Our project was a complete finishing of our basement. In November of 2024, when meeting with the sales point of contact, we had a professional experience. They took about two hours to come out, hear our wants/needs, give us additional ideas, take measurements and put together a quote. We ended up awarding OBA our project Dec 2024, and the project start date was April 2025. Before the project began, it became clear that multiple items from the initial agreement and draft did not make its way to the project team that would actually be handling it. As a result, we had to approve change orders that cost us several thousands of dollars that were not a part of our original quoted figure (but would have been if everything were accurately depicted from the get-go). We were given a verbal estimate of 8-10 weeks to have the project completed (i.e. mid-June/early July 2025), and encountered many delays throughout the

I am not pleased with the service I received! They damaged my waterline and stated someone would be out to fix it. It's been 9 months and no one will return my calls nor have they come to fix what they damaged! They ruined my lawn and never came back to replace the soil they dug up! They ruined my basement floor and I had to replace my entire floor! They said they would be out to test the sump pump and drains that were installed, again, it's been 9 months and no one has followed up with me! I'm really concerned that the lifetime warranty they say I have even exists!

They did a great job on the foundation repair adding 8 push piers and successfully moving the foundation back into place. However, in their rush they put a hole in the back of my house with the backhoe and it took them almost 6 months to repair and repaint the damage. I still recommend them since they were the only ones with the correct foundation fix.

John Dobrunick and Alex Trager serviced our patio lift. They offered outstanding service and were very personable! They commented that they treat each customer like a family member - outstanding!

I wish I had hired them first! I hired another company to fix my moving bowed and shearing basement walls. They were primarily a waterproofing company, but said they had the solutions to my issues. 3 months after they were complete, my walls cracked and shifted again. (Note, in the attached photos, the patchwork quilt on the walls was the OTHER company.) OBA fixed my issues the correct way. And they were great at every step. The work crew Caleb, Delontae, and Dylan were fast, efficient, and cleaned up when they were done. Caleb made sure to explain what was happening as they did the work and ask if I had questions. The work was thorough, and I feel good about it. And even better, they'll be out in 6 months to ensure everything is working as it should and make adjustments if needed.

The guys from ohio basement Authority fantastic job. They did the job in 2 days and it looks great. I definitely would hire them again to waterproof my basement if I moved and bought another house. And a shout out to Andrew Oliver Christian Zack Curtis.

Richard B, Donte B and Javaun W completed the job in 3 days. Lots of work, but they did it in a timely fashion. Richard was very informative about the process and checked in and out each day between my husband and I. I would recommend this crew to do any basement repairs. We inspected the entire basement and everything is exactly up to what the contract advised.

The work was done very well and John and Jabari were professional and courteous. Wonderful work!

Richard, Javaun and Mike Y, called and let me know their time of arrival and called while they were a few minutes out. They installed an encapsulation of a crawl space in a timely manner and left it nicer and cleaner than they found it.

CJ came out for our annual inspection - he was very thorough and friendly! He explained his findings in clearly and even gave an estimate for another project when asked. We have been really happy with Ohio Basements… everyone who works for this company does their job well!

We used this company to waterproof our basement. We spoke with Jacob Letner, who came to our house initially and helped us decide the best plan for our needs. Could not be happier. Definitely worth the money for the investment value in our home. The installers were pleasant and professional and got it done with no delays. I never felt pressured or dissatisfied at any time. Would recommend them for sure.

From our meeting with Bob Hayes for diagnosis of our foundation leak â thorough, well-explained â to the crew of Caleb, Devonte and Dylan, the project couldnâ t have gone smoother. Workers were on time, explained everything they would do, called ahead when coming to the house, and exceeded expectations. The crew could not have been more professional and ancillary work performed by the electrician was well-coordinated.

Malon B, Joe S. and Curtis J., were excellent! These three guys were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They explained everything to us. They were neat and conscientious of our home and belongings to protect them from damage. They cleaned after themselves and wasted no time completing the job!

Extremely disappointed. For 20k I expected better. First the crew didn't arrive until 2pm when they sent me a reminder call 3 days before when they said they would be there at 8am. They did call me twice the day of to let me know they would be running late. We didn't know there was a cost for drywall removal until the crew showed up to start work. That was an additional $2,800 we were not expecting. Originally they were supposed to go around the bathroom but when the crew showed up and said they couldn't and wanted to tear up my bathroom, boy am I glad they didn't now!! They told me at 3:30pm that the water line needed moved by the following day so they could install the carbon fiber straps. Had I had more notice I would have been able to get my plumber out, and not get ripped off by the plumber that was able to come out the next day to fit their schedule. That was an additional $2,900 that we were not expecting. The crew disconnected the utility tub which I knew they had too, and then they didn't shut the water line off all the way so when they left for the day it was dripping and I could hear the plip plip as soon as I walked into the basement. The crew left on day 2 and left a giant hole under my basement door for any animal to crawl in that wanted to. I had to cover it overnight myself. The crew did not sweep my driveway on day 2, and I found several nails left in my driveway. When the crew made concrete they didn't shut off my garden hose and it was dripping overnight until I caught it the next day. I put several things in my basement closet that I didn't want to get dusty, and the crew left the basement closet open all week so everything in my closet is dusty now when they had to reason to even open the closet to begin with. They installed the carbon fiber straps and didnâ t fill all the cracks under the wall where they put the straps. I have been trying to get them back out to fix it for over a week now without any luck. There are also 3 cracks in the concrete that I want to them to fix but also haven't heard back about that yet either.

Yousef dakhil, Christian birch and Kalen Stewart did a great job with waterproofing and installing my sump pump courteous, neat and great clean up after completing the job they walked me through every step of the installation and showed me how to operate the sump pump thanks guys you represented your company well

Shane and Chris were very kind and professional. They explained the process of foam to lift up the concrete around my swimming pool. They cleaned up afterwards and it was a very nice experience. I would highly recommend this service.
