Groundworks

They were great!Chris and Darnell called earlier than expected and were here right on time they said to be here! My patio look even and was raised up higher . We are very pleased.

This was the worst hire we ever made. Hired to do concrete leveling. A year later it was as bad as it ever was. No worries there?s a warranty. Only problem is have been trying for MONTHS to get them to respond to do warranty work am getting nowhere. Take my advice NEVER hire this organization they are a disgrace.

Six months following the 25000 stabilization of my elderly parents house, it sunk again. New interior cracks formed, door wouldn?t shut correctly again, the cement buckled in the drive, refused to give itemized bill, and we finally hired a lawyer. They have thousands of fake reviews so please make sure to find the lowest ratings and read the comments. Groundworks is owned by private equity who buy up small businesses so they can jack their prices with lower competition. Who financially and emotionally exploits the elderly? Talk to my mother who is 84. This should be a solid indicator about their character. Again, don?t believe any review that has the employees name in it which means you will be left seeing the real reviews, not those illegally written by employees, friends, Ohio Basement Authority, and Groundworks.

Groundworks dba Ohio Basement Authority charged my elderly parents 25000 for foundation work. Within 6 months the foundation went back to falling, the cement buckled and cracked, new cracks formed in the house interior, and they refused to give an itemized breakdown which is the law. Their reviews throughout the internet are primarily written by employees who only get paid commission. The fake reviews are everywhere and any review with a name be skeptical. We contacted them in September 2025 about the problems and they said they don?t do inspections. It is now one year later and nothing. We started putting up our reviews and what do you know, we got contacted by them twice in one day. Too late as we hired a lawyer. Do not think the Google reviews are valid as they have a reputation manager based out of NC to make sure fake reviews cover for the real reviews. We used the BBB A+ rating to help guide our decision, without reading the reviews?read them!

Ivan and Davis are the best !! Explained everything that was happening under the house. took pictures and all.....very pleased with them and their work....great job !!!!!!

Kevin Sweeney was knowledgeable about the waterproofing business he gave me a lots of valuable information. He also helped me repair my screen door. He was very professional and patient. He needs a raise, he is the best. Thank for sending him out to me.

Wow!!!!! I am very grateful for this company!!! Everything was explained very clearly, I was able to see videos and explore options! I consider it affordable for the job that has to be completed. Thank you to Jacob Letner he was very helpful today!!!!🤗

Zachary Rose stopped out, he was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and he explained every level of my questions to the max. Thank you!

Zachary Rose was very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend! Ty

Trying to sell a home came be a trying experience; waiting for the inspector’s report is unbearable. We got the bad news my mother’s crawl space was damp, cracked and needed repairs. I called Groundwork’s not knowing what I was in for. Cooper Docherty showed up and allowed me to follow him into the area and pointed out the damage and the remedy; no upsell, just a straightforward honest approach. I truly appreciate his knowledge and salesmanship. I will highly recommend Groundwork’s in the Cleveland market.

Dijon Diego and Paul did a very nice job in a very timely manner. They were professional and cleaned up the area when they were done.

yes Shaon; Winston;Nick did a good job considering the weather

Joel arrived to evaluate our driveway for leveling, and had us a quote in no time. We approved the quote and the crew arrived to do the leveling job on time as scheduled. They did a fantastic job leveling our driveway, I would recommend them to anyone needing their driveway leveled.

1 / 2 We had a mixed, at best, experience with Ohio Basement Authority. Our project was a complete finishing of our basement. In November of 2024, when meeting with the sales point of contact, we had a professional experience. They took about two hours to come out, hear our wants/needs, give us additional ideas, take measurements and put together a quote. We ended up awarding OBA our project Dec 2024, and the project start date was April 2025. Before the project began, it became clear that multiple items from the initial agreement and draft did not make its way to the project team that would actually be handling it. As a result, we had to approve change orders that cost us several thousands of dollars that were not a part of our original quoted figure (but would have been if everything were accurately depicted from the get-go). We were given a verbal estimate of 8-10 weeks to have the project completed (i.e. mid-June/early July 2025), and encountered many delays throughout the

I am not pleased with the service I received! They damaged my waterline and stated someone would be out to fix it. It's been 9 months and no one will return my calls nor have they come to fix what they damaged! They ruined my lawn and never came back to replace the soil they dug up! They ruined my basement floor and I had to replace my entire floor! They said they would be out to test the sump pump and drains that were installed, again, it's been 9 months and no one has followed up with me! I'm really concerned that the lifetime warranty they say I have even exists!

They did a great job on the foundation repair adding 8 push piers and successfully moving the foundation back into place. However, in their rush they put a hole in the back of my house with the backhoe and it took them almost 6 months to repair and repaint the damage. I still recommend them since they were the only ones with the correct foundation fix.

5/5 she was great and real nice! She was very informative and knew her stuff.

John Dobrunick and Alex Trager serviced our patio lift. They offered outstanding service and were very personable! They commented that they treat each customer like a family member - outstanding!

Very responsive and worked around my schedule to make the earliest appointment to get the work done

Followed through on everything promised. Thorough and patient answering any questions and concerns. Finished the job on time and fit me in quickly on their schedule.

.

I wish I had hired them first! I hired another company to fix my moving bowed and shearing basement walls. They were primarily a waterproofing company, but said they had the solutions to my issues. 3 months after they were complete, my walls cracked and shifted again. (Note, in the attached photos, the patchwork quilt on the walls was the OTHER company.) OBA fixed my issues the correct way. And they were great at every step. The work crew Caleb, Delontae, and Dylan were fast, efficient, and cleaned up when they were done. Caleb made sure to explain what was happening as they did the work and ask if I had questions. The work was thorough, and I feel good about it. And even better, they'll be out in 6 months to ensure everything is working as it should and make adjustments if needed.

From first contact to sales person showing up to people doing actual work everything went very well

The guys from ohio basement Authority fantastic job. They did the job in 2 days and it looks great. I definitely would hire them again to waterproof my basement if I moved and bought another house. And a shout out to Andrew Oliver Christian Zack Curtis.

The salesman Bob and supervisor Steve worked together to have project completed to my family needs .
