I hired Jacob based on a recommendation from a friend and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Jacob has superb product knowledge and paid great attention to detail, which is needed in an older home with lots of character. I initially only wanted to hire Jacob to paint my fireplaces (which both turned out amazing!), but I ended up hiring him to repaint basically my whole house which entailed repainting the walls, ceilings, windows, woodwork/trim (baseboards, beadboard, crown molding), and built-in bookcases and armoire. The intricate and ornate woodwork throughout the house and the poor paint job from the previous owner did cause a delay in our proposed deadline, but Jacob put in long hours to complete the work. Overall, I really enjoyed working with Jacob and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs to repaint their home as he went above and beyond to complete the projects at hand, to make everything look great, and to exceed my satisfaction.

Our main contact, Jacob, worked hard to accommodate our changing window of time for work to begin. He worked long and late hours to make sure things were completed as the weather allowed. He brought a few subs in for some of the steps involved. All the subs were very competent and eager to please. Jacob reached out often to give us the heads up on supply deliveries and arrival times. We hired Jacob/HIS to do some drywall skim-coating in our dining room after we removed some chair railing. He was timely, communicative, and meticulous. The walls are flawless. I'd recommend Jacob to anyone who wants quality work at a very resonable price.

Jacob was a consummate professional. From customer service to work quality, he was the easiest and best contractor to work with. For example, I am moving and needed this done quickly for 200 or less. Whereas other providers either could not schedule me for another week or could not do the job for 200, Jacob immediately returned my call to take the job for 200 and complete the job by the next day. Essentially, Jacob was the only one to save money as well as time. As a college professor, those are two assets that I hold near and dear. As such, I have no problem unequivocally recommending Jacob for anyone looking for VERY GOOD QUALITY at VERY REASONABLE PRICES AND TIMING.

Jacob Krulick did an excellent job restoring two ceilings in my 93-yr. old home.He is a meticulous worker with an extraordinary att. to detail,and was willing to stay as long as it took to make sure everything was done right.Thumbs up!

Problem: damages to soffit, rafters, roof board, shingles. I am very happy with Home Improvement Solutions. So needing immediate repair of my soffit, roof, more. It was scheduled quickly, and done completely even though it snowed! They were reliable, honest, professional, hard working men. Scott, in particular, is a highly skilled craftsman who explained, offered options, and performed as per our agreement. He was a professional craftsman and knew every that had to be done! I will hire them again and soon! I highly recommend them! I thought they were also affordable for my situation.
