I was quoted a price for a shower door and I accepted. They gave me a senior discount, which I appreciated, and I put down 50% to get in line. After a while, when I had not heard anything, I called to see where we were. The girl on the phone said the two pieces that were being manufactured by a third party had been there for only two days and she could schedule me for the install. That is why I was not called two days earlier. The install was set ways out, as the installers were backed up. At any rate, the guys called before they came to let me know they were coming, which I had been told they would do and which I appreciated. They got the door installed with no issues, but the side piece of glass would not fit. The owner of the company himself did the original measure. They advised they would have to re-order a new piece of side glass and would let me know when that came in. So, a shower I had finished weeks earlier still was not able to be used. But, mistakes happen, so we move on. That is installed by trip #1. Again, after what I felt was more than enough time had passed, I called to get a status on the re-ordered piece. Once again, I was advised that the replacement glass was on site and I could schedule an install. Idk why I was not called this time immediately upon its arrival to schedule the install. I am advised that I had to go back in regular order awaiting installation. When that day comes, no one calls first to make sure we are home, they just show up. Luckily, we were there. They take the newly fabricated piece into the bathroom and we are excited, as this is the final piece of the bath remodel and I can finally take a shower in my new master shower many weeks after all other work had been completed. However, after a few minutes, the installer comes out and advises that although space has now been measured twice by professionals, the custom piece still does not fit properly and must be re-ordered, yet again. Trip #2. After more time passes, again without a call, I call them and am advised the piece just arrived. Again, Idk why I was not called immediately upon its arrival, especially given my overall wait time. She gives me an install date weeks out. I go through this story with her and say that I have already waited my turn two times, and I expect them to set up my install asap. She gets an attitude and says that they cannot and will not schedule it any sooner. To me, this is where they really dropped the ball. Well, I have no choice but to accept the date offered and wait. Again, they show up without calling first. This time (trip #3), they get the piece installed and leave their invoice, requesting payment. I get tied up and the workmen leave, but I got a call that very afternoon for payment. No delays when they want their money. I authorize payment over the phone to get this behind us.
