Old Fashioned Plumbing and Irrigation - Unlicensed Contractor

Old Fashioned was the only company that responded to our request for help over the holidays. James and Troy came out immediately and hydrojetted our problem drain line.

Had to give a star to move on. James Cleary called right away and scheduled to come out; never showed, never called and never returned any of my messages. Very unprofessional.

Great guy, hard worker. Would recommend him to anyone.

Very conscientious people

I was initially very impressed, especially with how knowledgeable he seemed and his plan for irrigation was good. However, while doing the job, he would say he was going to Home Depot, which is very close by , and be gone for hours. Then he'd want to change when it would be completed by and work putting drains and pipes in by flashlight. Awhile after they were done I called a couple of times, and texted, and received no responses. I think he knows what he's doing and can do quality work, but he is unreliable.

Problem fixed, but cost was a little high....

The guy I hired previously, didn't know what he was doing. Troy, on the other hand, was very knowledgable about my irrigation system. He did a complete overhaul of my system, he set my sprinklers, changed some heads and the price was right. I would recommend Troy in the future.

I found Troy to be very friendly and courteous and represented his company well. He also installed a kitchen faucet in addition to the sprinkler repairs he did. He was on time both times he came to the house and completed the work in a timely manner with quality workmanship. His follow up on the parts that needed to be ordered was as promised and the project completed on time. He handled himself with a high level of integrity and was honest with the pricing he provided.

I hired Troy to fix the sprinkler, they did the work and I paid them, after a month I noticed the some plants were dying and I called the company and they said that they would sent someone back to fix and has not and so now when I call VM is full

Put in 3 new sprinkler valves in October 2017. On time and service completed. Came out during the winter to see where water was coming from. We decided to wait until July to review and fix any problems n/c for any labor. One of the manifold leaks so I turned off water supply and called them, texted them, emailed them and posted on their web site. No one got back to me. I waited about 10 days and repeated above. No reply. Texted again 7 days later and James called back and we set an appointment for the next week. no show no call back, nada! I texted them and gave them 10 days to come out no reply. thru a friend got in touch with another irrigation company and they came out a week later and fixed problem no parts used. I feel j=James owes us $100 just to pay for repair done today. This does not include all the time and energy we wasted on this company.

I paid top dollar and the job was not done right. Now they refuse to return my calls.

After two attempts to repair my leak in my irrigation system, I still have a leak. Never was on time and sometimes did not show up at all and did not call to tell me they weren't coming. Had to hire another company to repair their repair. My real rating is 0 stars but I wasn't given that option.

In the past I have spent approx. $1000.00 to fix sprinkler system only to not have the problem solved. Old Fashion Plumbing fixed it in a couple hours. They were a bit pricey but the system is repaired and working great. The employees were great & explained everything. I would highly recommend this company

Did a good job.

Timely and the workmanship was great.

Efficient. Answered questions and repaired problem.

Called 2 separate times. The first to replace sprinkler head and general maintenance. Great experience so called again when I had another sprinkler head break. Troy came out for both services. He was knowledgeable great too work with and did a great job. Would recommend.

On time, right to work, fixed problem, I'm satisfied.
