I met the estimator - he was fabulous: he came on time, communicated with me and problem solved how to work my move efficiently. The coordinator was wonderful too - same characteristics as stated above. My issues began with the movers unfortunately. They were very polite and they came early - that's always a bonus, but I think we could've been served better if they had the benefit of a bit more training.I wish the movers had come with floor protecting mats. It was wet out and when they had moved us in to our newly built house - I had to thoroughly clean the floors from all the debris left behind by shoe prints. I"ll need to sweep paint on my walls where the furniture came in contact with the freshly painted surfaces. They also rested furniture against the walls. Fine if a mattress, not fine if its wood bedroom headboards, etc. They were not as delicate as I had hoped they would be. They took my furniture and turned it on it's side and then bumped it down a flight of stairs on their dolly resulting in several of my things getting dislodged and rolling behind the drawer itself. The drawer does not come of the rack, so I had to take my dresser apart in order to reach those things. When we returned back to our former housing, we found cigarette butts on the garage floor and I found their littered drinking cans thrown or left behind in the grass. My husband and I decided we would put our furniture back together on our own and this was a good decision because the movers forgot their tools in our former housing, so my husband lent them his tools for the one build we wanted them to do. Then my husband had to return to our former location to let them in to retrieve their own tools. I feel badly for writing this negative review - but we had movers a few months ago move us and the only thing I found was two broken dishes. And they had floor mats to protect our hardwood floors from being damaged. Please please - treat people's housegoods as if they belong to you - gently!

The workmen scared my new floor when they brought in my furniture and took longer than the quote. I told them not to be too worried about the flooring as I could fix it. Never heard from anyone after the service asking how things went or anything else.

Be careful when getting an estimate. I was quoted two discounts, 5% discount as a Senior and 5% as a Vet., however, when it came time to pay I was informed that they would only give me one or the other not both. Both were part of the quote pricing. Since this was one of the reasons I selected Olde World Transport and Movers, it came as a big surprise when paying. Also they indicated that a credit card could be used, but, they did NOT inform me that it would add 5% to the total cost. I was also NOT told about not being able to take my computer without it having been packed by me, however they accepted the two TV's in unpacked form and transported them. I there fore had to locate my check book to pay so I would not incur the added cost and packing material for my computer system, very disappointing.... I gave them the 4.5 out of 5.0 rating because of the workmanship and docked them a half point due to quote problems. The workmanship was outstanding and gave me and my wife some relief from past experience with various movers.

Great guys to work with. They continue to be part of the team once we find our new home.

I believe one of the two men was Tony. Both of the men were hard-working and efficient. Tony is the one I would, w his teammate, like to hire again.

Arrived on time. Had great blankets and bundling plastic . The only thing not right was he wanted me to sign off that move was complete before it was. He said he always forgets, I told him would sign when job was done. And we did..

The absolute best customer service ever. Domingo, Eddie, John and Mike are fast, funny and always ready to move boxes around again and again until they are where you need them for access. Highly recommend this company and this crew in particular. 👍👍

Movers were early since we were first app of day, very careful with our furniture and belongings.

I used mustang movers in the past but olde world out performed then sooooo much - they were great!

I posted on home advisor for n Saturday and got a return call the same day. They came out and did estimate for full move. I even moved my date up and they accommodated me. They were prompt, honest and professional.

Quick easy estimate once I submitted it onlin ! Eddie and Jerry were great! My appointment was at 9 am on a SUNDAY, and they showed up at 8:57! Pleasant to work with, wrapped furniture well, everything got from A to B with no damage or issue! Would definitely use again and refer to family or friends.
