They are felons who had taken money from people in 5 different states.

I like others started a contract at end of October. They took my down payment and have left town. We got a hold of the person who did our estimate but he says the offices have been closed. Their phone number is no longer working. I definitely would like to hear from others.

I do not know why there are 2 Olive Trees for Elgin on Home Advisor. You can find them both if you search for one with and one without the LLC. I made a review on the other and copied it here. Olive Tree will take your money and not do the work. They took over $11k as a down payment and never started construction. It took them 6 weeks to apply for the permit. They finally did apply after I pulled all the info together and said I would apply myself but needed their company info to do so. A month after they finally applied for the permit, I called the county for a status update and they said it was never paid so the application just sat in the queue waiting for payment. I assume the permit delay is part of the scam. I got my permit 4 months later and now they are no longer responding to me. This is a scam - they took my 10% deposit and ran. They strung me along just long enough so I can not recover the money from my bank, then stopped answering calls. Definitely do not do business with them!

This company is a fraud. My Project Manager and everyone associated with my project is gone or their phone numbers have been changed. From what I have been told, they took my money and closed up shop. I am starting a class action lawsuit. Anyone wanting in, please email me at lalela.alea@yahoo.com. I am sure I am not the only one they stole money from.

I would not recommend using Olive Tree Construction, LLC. More than 4 months after signing the Project Agreement Olive Tree began work on our Patio Cover project. They tore down our old patio cover and left our roof exposed. Days later we incurred water damage in our attic, interior/exterior walls and flooring. I had to hire a third-party roofing company to patch the roof to avoid further damage. Olive Tree will not respond to my texts, emails or answer my calls. This project has been a nightmare.

They completely transformed my kitchen remodel into a reality! From Allison taking my thoughts and bringing them to life, to Mitch and the crew making it happen. I will definitely recommend and use this team again.

From start to finish, Olive Tree kept us informed of the process of building our deck. The contractors, Ray and Trip, did an excellent job on our deck. They kept us informed of any problems they found, found ways to solved them and provided additional suggestions to make our deck , our dream deck. We initially went through Olive Tree because of their outstanding review ratings and are very pleased with the completed project.

The only issue I had was the "wait time" for the project to begin. Once the sub contractor was hired, things went smoothly and quickly.

They are hard working, people, dependable and honest .

Project: Bathroom/Shower renovation Working with contractors is always complicated, but the team at Olive Tree complete for me a pretty awesome project at a very competitive price. Working with the subcontractor proved difficult at first, with getting the project started, but Allison was there the whole way making sure that even with any setbacks or delays, the project got done and to my high level of satisfaction. The most important thing to me was quality, and they really nailed my new shower. Allison was great, offering design options that I hadnt even thought of, and I am a bit of a do it yourself kind of guy. Once the project came close to being done, Austin came out to inspect everything, and made sure that I was 100% happy with the work. A few small nitpicky things were fixed asap, and the early difficulties of scheduling (which happen with every contract job) never truly impacted the finished product. I would 100% recommend Olive Tree Construction. Work with Allison or Austin, they were great. I will be calling them for my next project!

Olive tree offers a great experience from start to end. Austin and Chris are actively trying to provide you a personalized customer experience, making sure you get exactly what you need. I had a weird project that I only needed to extend my existing patio 3 feet by 9 feet. At first, the project was not what I was expecting. However, after communicating with Austin my dissatisfaction, the crew was back the next day to re-do the job. I was truly impressed with the care and attention I received from everyone at Olive Tree. They never had a bad attitude or acted as if it wasnâ t their problem that the extension wasnâ t what I was imagining. I highly recommend Olive Tree Construction.

It was and easy process from start to finish I would recommend Oliver Tree for any small or larger projects
