At the start of our project there seemed to be a problem getting materials and needed equipment to the work site. Once this was resolved the work crew was first class: hard working, knowledgeable, friendly. The supervisors/engineers were accessible, returning calls quickly. We are very happy with the the finished product and our neighbors compliment our new look every day! Definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Overview: Their laborers do quality work, but Luiz and Moises are poor at the organization, especially with large residential jobs. Buyer beware, recommended only for small, short term residential jobs. Same shady business practices you commonly see with general contractors. Disclaimer: They will certainly rationalize everything below in a reply, but that is the only thing they can do. I do not have anything to gain here, just trying to help educate people about my experience. Detailed Comments: Asked for the final payment before the final inspection, which is always a red flag, and you should never agree to. Ended up failing the final inspection the first time. Just buyer beware here if he pulls that on you. Charged me for items at the end of the job that he had stated were included, such as patching up drywall, and other items. Again just more buyer beware here, this practice is pretty common with contractors. Did a poor job of installing a sliding glass door, it would come off the track often after repeated use. They tried to fix it a few times to no avail. Ended up fixing it myself after the job in a few minutes, but heads up. Luiz and Moises would rarely show up to the job. Day laborers and all subcontractors did not speak English, so it was difficult to communicate, to coordinate schedules or issues. Just a heads up that there is a language barrier. Installed the wrong hardwood in the kitchen (red oak instead of white oak), and had to replace the hardwood in the adjacent areas. One of his laborers said it happens all the time. Just evidence of disorganization on large jobs. Flooring guys forgot to show up on time, to sand and stain, and wanted to pull an all-nighter to make up for it (lol). Again just more evidence of disorganization. The HVAC company had several issues. I would not recommend it. The HVAC crew made a complete mess, unlike Omega. Left nails and screws where they fell, old insulation just left all over the floor, did not clean up. HVAC did not pull the permit when they started the job. Spoke with the town building inspector, who confirmed that they started without a permit, then pulled one after. Again this is common practice for shady or disorganized contractors. Luckily the building inspector caught them during the rough gas/plumbing (again, confirmed with the town inspector). After the job was over, I found out the hard way that the electricians did not wire the cable TV line properly. I ended up having to re-run the line myself; my best guess is they forgot to connect the cable to the line from outside, or one of the splitters is not working. Either way, Comcast told me the line was unconnected to the outside line.

We live in a 19th century house and did several renovations before we found Omega. We were fortunate to find Omega for our largest renovation project: fully renovating our totally outdated kitchen. By far, I found Omega Building Co. the best among the best. They are highly skilled, and listen to our needs carefully and translated that into their implementation very well. Of course, they are not cheap, but compared with the quality of the work they perform, their pricing is reasonable and fully justifiable. We had to do the renovation during the Covid pandemic. Despite the lockdown at the cabinet manufacturer factory that lasted for 2 months, Omega managed their schedule excellently, and when the lockdown was lifted, they completed their task so promptly. We are thankful to all the work they do. I'll go back to Omega for any future renovation work. Luiz and Moises make a perfect ateam, and all the people they brought to our project are wonderful professionals -- and very nice people.

Workmanship is shoddy. Installer spoke no English therefore could not communicate with him. Still waiting a week later to return and finish installation from a week ago. They were supposed to return on 10/ 2 to finish. They were a no call no show. In conversation with the owner he initially would not commit to a new time frame until I pressed him. they finally came to install my custom closet door that was not installed due to their initial inaccurate measurements, I am stunned at the lack of caring and customer service I received from both Lowe's and Omega Building Company, I am so disappointed in the shoddy work that was done by Omega Building Company who claims they are professionals

They did a great job. They went above and beyond. Offered great suggestions and we used them for additional work. They did our cabinets, tiled kitchen floor and backsplash and did laminated flooring we needed replaced.

As our first time doing major renovation work in the house we were apprehensive to hire a contractor given all the horror stories we heard. We interviewed a few contractors and immediately felt at ease with Omega, Luiz is very professional and easy to work with, always available to answer our questions and very flexible to accommodate changes to the original design. The team of workers showed up every day and worked 8-5, sometimes even Saturdays and staying late when needed to meet a deadline. The final product is exactly what we agreed on. We know who we are hiring for our next project.

If you want a quality job done by a very talented team of workers, hire Omega. They work with you on every part of the project, from design to finish. They have enough people on their crew to get the job done on time. We had a complete kitchen and bathroom done, replaced a tub with a shower and turned an unused mud room into a large closet. They designed and built the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity, took down walls, installed new beams, floors, tiled and painted. We are so happy with the work they did and the crew was the best. Their price was extremely competitive and we were not hit with any surprise cost! The plumber and electrician were payed separately and Omega arranged for quotes for us to pick from. Liuz, on of the owners was our contact and even with a busy schedule, he was always was extremely responsive. We are so happy with our new house! Thanks to everyone at Omega!

Omega is a very customer oriented business But more importantly they are very focused on quality. They remodeled my first floor including my kitchen dining room and family room. Their design abilities are outstanding. They were able to deliver a beautiful layout for my old home which I now love. They have good communication skills. Their price is very competitive. I would definitely use them again.

I hired them for kitchen remodeling. The initial response was very good. Issues Faced: 1. Supposed to be 2 to 3 week project. Took 5 weeks to finish. 2. They changed cabinet sizes on their own. They wind up cutting cabinet size and then install it, it looked so weird. They also eliminated one of the corner cabinets and wanted it to be an empty space. 3. Faucett installation was screwed up. I found missing part from garbage. Not sure how they can throw away parts in garbage. 4. Garbage disposal installation was also screwed up. Dishwasher was not draining. Contractor did not the have time to fix issue. They will not pick up phone, will give lame excuses. After a week of constant calling, they asked me to hire a plumber and later reimbursed me. 5. Tile grouting was imperfect. They did it several times to fix it. One of the time they used different color grout. 6. I wanted 1 inch free space around freeze, for easy in and out. It was a total disappointment, They wind up just pushing it in. No space around freeze. 7. Peninsula installation was also an issue. Asked them repeatedly to keep more than 36 inch space between wall and peninsula. Typical excuses they used and width was only 34.5 8. Demolition guy was pulling dishwasher out without disconnecting water connection. It was so frustrating. 9. Cabinet drawers are not aligned, when pointed out, saying they cannot do anything, they blame manufacturer 10. Within few months cabinet door started grinding each other, called them for adjustment. Made repeated call, heard excuses like battery dead, mail box full, not answer call, will send someone next week... still waiting. Quality is very poor for sure. Once the job is done, it is tough to get hold of them.

"Hello Mr P, First of all, thank you so much for your review. The review is a important tool today's date, very important to future customers find out about our great and not so great previous jobs. We understand your frustration about your beautiful new kitchen, but let's make this clear on points as you mentioned on above. 1 - It took 5 weeks and was very well explained why. The vendor promise the cabinets the day we started the job, but they ended delivering the cabinets 2 weeks later. But at the time, we installed a temporary sink and at the time it was all agreed between Customer and Omega. 2 - As we explained on site, the corner cabinet called "Lazy Susan" aren't made on dimensions necessary to keep the same layout, and, after all we ended customizing the corner bottom cabinet with new shelves and extending to the end of the wall. Same as the "Peninsula" cabinets were "too big" we customized to 18" depth, and came out great, as you agreed on site. 3 - We completely agreed on this term, and we apologize with such an awkward fact. The reason why this employee (same for the tile guy) don't work with us anymore. 4 - Absolutely agree with you Mr P, and the result, electricians and plumbers are only certified professionals. 5 - The grout was corrected till you were happy with the final look. The color difference, that it's depending on the mix of preparing the grout. But couple of changes we got the color that you wanted. 6 - The kitchen layout was respected the old one. With no changes (after we tried with couple of options) the fridge spaces had to keep the same, but at least you had the trim at the kitchen door back. 7- Peninsula was designed with you sir in place, we measured all together Mr P. 8 - Sorry but during the demolition, sometimes some weird episodes may happen, unfortunately we can't control, as long as we try. 9 - Cabinets from third party we adjust on site, but sometimes with all effort doesn't come 100% as needed. 10 - Alright, Mr P, after few months, readjusting two drawers in a rush wasn't possible because we have a schedule to follow and it wasn't emergency. We apologize for the delay but it was fixed later on in couple of minutes. After all Mr P, you have your concerns and we sincerely take them to learn and to step up and make sure this won't happen again with future customers. Thank you again for your review. Outstanding experience. One or both of the owners was at my house daily to observe the construction. Excellent communication throughout and their workers were wonderful. I've received so many compliments on my new deck. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my next project.

The workers were very professional and worked very hard. The Trex deck turned out beautiful - it makes the house look like new. Everyone that I have showed pictures to are blown away with the work done. Anyone looking to have any type of work done for their home should not hesitate to call on them. Omega built a deck for us. They generally did a good job and finished the work within the time frame that they promised. The only things that could have been done better are some of the visual details (railing balusters that are not vertical and are not evenly-spaced between posts in some places, for example). They did build a very solid deck, though, which is a huge improvement over our old deck.

I can't say enough good things about the whole team. They do excellent work. They took a small dreary disaster of a kitchen and turned it into a work of art. The original time estimate was 3 weeks and they finished in 2. Perfect job. I have received many complemints. Luiz and Moises are easy to work with and very responsive.

From the moment the crew arrived (EXACTLY ON TIME!) they were very friendly, polite and professional! They put down drop cloths to protect my carpet and immediately went to work! They hauled out my old tub so quietly, I only knew they were coming and going when I heard the door close. I am VERY impressed with both the quality of the work AND the product! You cannot even tell they were here, they left my bathroom immaculate! And my new walk-in shower is BEAUTIFUL!!

Luiz, Moises and crew did an outstanding job. They built a 6 X 12 front porch using Trex decking and vinyl railings. But what was more impressive was the time that Luiz & Moises put in to go to town meetings, filling paper work in Boston and getting all the proper work papers to do the work which took almost 6 months. Because of the length of time it took for the approvals, their crew was required to work in extreme cold and rain and they still did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone.
