I feel like I was taken advantage of and that I wasn't appreciated as a customer being a woman. My posts are all crooked and off kilter and every single spindle is upside down. There were a ton of screws missing and areas that still need to be screwed in important places.

Omega Construction provided me with an estimate, drawings, proposal and estimate to construct an elevator shaft for a residential property. The work performed was great and Omega was paid in full. However, Omega contracted the carpenter who did the work and he was not paid for the job. This carpenter contractor showed up unannounced at my home 2 weeks later asking to use my name as a reference in his legal action against Omega. Days later, I received a lien on my property from the carpenter contractor due to the non-payment. Omega is not answering my calls now. Also, Omega has not paid the bill for the materials. Do not use this business or anyone affiliated with them.

In good faith I gave them $3100 and the job has not started, no communications at all. Cant get hold of anybody.

Service Provider came in with reasonable bid. Met owner he seemed like a upstanding guy. Started work, things were progressing then suddenly ceased. Project manager informed me he was quitting, same day subcontractor contacted me to say he has not been paid. Owner said that everything was okay and that he would provide me with lien waivers. After asking for waivers, no one at the company or owner is answering phone, email or the door.

We had a lot of trouble with the quote. My understanding of the contract was not the same as the owner, who would always send his son to discuss things. He finally would not finish the job unless I agreed with his price. Just make sure you unstanding what you are getting.

We had a fence with doors built for our backyard. Omega was very easy to work with -- responsive, professional, thorough -- along with great quality of work. Highly recommended.

We hired this company to handle a bathroom remodel following a mold remediation due to leaking shower pan. We chose this company after getting 3 estimates from local contractors. One of the reasons we chose them was because the owner himself came to give us the estimate and he seemed very knowledgeable and honest. We hired them in December of 2016, with the understanding that it would be early February before starting the job. Once the job began, we were told 3 weeks to completion, 4 to be safe. One of the reasons for delay in starting was explained to be making sure all materials were ordered and in stock as to not cause delay during the project. During the project; however, we waited nearly 2 weeks for flooring that we had requested at the time of original estimate. One week prior to Derby, (approx 6 weeks past deadline) we began to really complain about the project not being finished. There were various excuses used by the project manager, but after a last push they declared our project to be finished. The work was sub-par, (we could have done better painting, drywall, and carpentry ourselves) but we just wanted to be finished, so we paid for the job completion and tried to move on. This job required a new shower pan be built and tile in the shower be replaced. Once the tile was sealed and ready to use, we found that it would not drain due to all of the grout and dirt being washed through the drain and hardening. The project manager came back and discovered that not only did the plumbing need replacing, but the shower pan was leaking. (AGAIN, THIS WAS ORIGINAL PROBLEM THAT CAUSED MOLD) The tile was then torn out again and the shower pan rebuilt and tile replaced. Upon trying to use the shower again, the water would not drain because the tile was replaced without the proper slope. Now the tile had to be torn out, just around drain to try to create the correct slope. this took another week or so, and still did not solve the problem. On JUNE 26, 2017, I called the owner of the company, who claimed to be completely unaware of any of these problems. He sent someone I had never seen or met before to my house to evaluate the situation the next day. This man was the first person at the company to apologize for all of our troubles. At this time we built a whole new shower pan and all new tile floor was built in the shower. Upon inspection and use for 1 week, (fingers crossed) we believe that the shower is finished. We still need all new caulking and paint because nothing matches, but we have decided to handle that ourselves. So, in short, our project started Early February 2017 and ended July 13, 2017, after a prediction of 4 weeks to finish, and in case you lost count, that was 4 different shower floors and 3 different pans to finish.

Omega did a good job, in 98 degree temps. Did have a issue with some of the lumber, they stepped up and corrected with new boards. The steps were smaller than plan. They work OK but the larger step would have been better. For the most part were happy with the work. They were nice people and the deck looks nice. Dwight & Linda

Didn't quite perform the work as quoted, pretty much did what I would have done. A good combination of listening to the customer and their recommendation, easy to deal with. Would recommend their services outside of my scope and abilities. Update: They came back and completed the work as agreed upon. Kudos for that and updated rating!

The 2 guys did excellent work. All joining components of the deck matched up perfectly. Only they did not reattach the gutter downspouts. It was easy for me to do that. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the quality of the job done. Removing the existing porch, and building the new porch the job was completed in 2 days. Disposing of all debris was done on day 3. I am pleased.

My experience with Omega was tremendous. Rich walk me through the options available and offered advice as far as the differences in material and style. There was no salesman approach to the estimate in the work. He gave me multiple estimates based on materials. The work was quality and fast. Very very satisfied with the results. Thank you Rich.

If you are looking for a general contractor, make sure you keep on looking. Consider yourself lucky to not have hired and paid this outfit to do messy and incomplete work.
