On Time Experts

We awoke to a completely blocked/backed-up Kitchen Sink, with the water backing up on both sides of the sink. I called Hosack Plumbing Cooling & Heating (NOTE: It is the SAME BUSINESS as SC Hosack Plumbing & Excavating listed on Angie's), and they scheduled me for an afternoon appointment the same day. Steve actually arrived at the START of the 4-hour service window, which was REALLY nice so I didn't have to wait half the day. Steve quickly determined where the blockage was in the drain pipe, and he got it removed. It was the first-time in 35-years we had this problem with our kitchen sink, and Steve explained how over time the blockage accumulated until it finally closed off all drain flow. Steve then gave us some good maintenance information for us to do once a month to help future blockages from forming. It's well-worth the cost of a bottle of Dawn Dish Soap once a month to help make sure it doesn't happen, again, and avoid the cost for this type of service in the future. :)

They did a great job!

Steve was really helpful, and patient with my questions. I received another quote from a larger, more well known company. Hosack's quote was $100s less.

Steve was great, explained everything. Let me know what to expect, and how much it would cost. I will request him anytime!

The repairman was very courteous and professional Quoted a price before beginning repair. Also suggested the name of another company to help me with a concern that he was not qualified to do.

Service guy was courteous and friendly.

Quick repair well explained and very easy to talk to. Very good work.

I can t say enough great things about Hosack Plumbing and Excavation. They just completed replacing the main water line from our home to the street. Their work is excellent, they completely explain what they are doing and make you feel very comfortable and when the work is completed everything is neat and clean and back to its original state. Their pricing was very fair and they were professional and friendly.

timing call back and lowest cost. Great work

Very nice guys to work with.

Good customer service.

They installed a new water heater for us. They were very efficient. Did not leave a mess. And we have been very happy with the water heater that we bought from them.

They did a good job, but they are a little pricey.

i called because i needed work on my water heater. they were able to come the next day and take care of everything. professional.

Glenn was fantastic!!! Will DEF use again!!!

Very professional and installed the gas line quickly. They also hooked up the new stove.

I had two plumbers visit my home to look at my waterheater and admit it was leaking and under warranty but offered no solutions. I looked on line for alternatives and reviewed tankless heaters;I requested a quote, and Steve Hosack responded within seconds! He made himself available faster than anyone else and had a new unit installed the next day. More importantly, he stopped the leak - actually flow of water immediately with a simple solution for which he expected nothing, saving me many dollars in wasted water. The other two "master plumbers" left the flow of water running. I purchased the tankless heater, as well as a new hot water tap, and had several minor repairs made by Steve and his crew. All work was professionally done. His crew was polite and efficient. I cannot recommend Hosack Plumbing and Excavation more highly!

The installer was very professional and polite. The work area was left clean and neat. The price that we were quoted over the phone is the price that we were charged. Our new water heater is working great.

I had to call for two separate problems in the last month. They sent out Glen Brooks and he was very professional and did the work that needed to be done. No extras or surprises. He kept me informed what he was repairing. I have found my plumber for all future needs. They are speedy and reliable.

My mother's pilot light wouldn't stay lit and the repair guy explained to me and my mother what the issue was. He also walked me through the entire repair process. I like how he used lament terms and also ask that I come back to my mother's house and check to make sure the pilot stayed lit. Thank you!

He arrived on time and conducted the gas line inspection and left. Efficient and competent.

Great service, very professional, will definitely hire again for all plumbing needs
