"Unfortunately this portable ( which is more than 15 years old ) was taken in during the days before hurricane Florence and after diagnosing found that the issue was at the very least the internal governor which is an inexpensive part but requires a full tear down of the unit. The customer had been made aware of delays on parts from the hurricane and its after effects as well as availability of parts this old as well . We still have the unit awaiting the correct parts and will be putting back together and testing as soon as we have them ."

Portable Generator - Repair
dont usually do this, but I have to vent. We have tried to get our generator repaired since late last fall. One Call Electric was found on Home Advisor. They picked it up for repairs and kept it for many weeks. Once it came back to us, within 2 days we smelled gas in the garage. It was leaking. Left many more messages for them to come and get it and fix it. This went on for several more weeks. Now, mind you, we paid in full for first repairs. Finally, they came and got it. Kept it for many, many weeks. Brought it back finally, left it in the garage. Within 2 days, it was leaking gas again. This was getting ridiculous. Left more and more messages to fix it. They picked it,once again, long before Christmas. It was just returned this week, and guess what????????? Yep, its leaking gas again. Not only that, but they broke the key off in the ignition. Dont know what will be done about that. I urge you do not use this company for service. I have left another voice mail. Now, we need to get a new repair company.

"We try our best to save every unit that comes in through our shop and some no matter what we do, when one piece is replaced or fixed another that hasn't been changed in years then fail . This unit was at least 20 years old and had not been used or maintained in many of them. In the end we refunded this customer all his money, even the initial money spent."

UPDATE: They did come back out & fixed every issue! Everything is now resolved. Initially, the men were very professional & personable. Unfortunately the work they did is not correct. I am having the same problems. Everything they worked on now has problems. They accidentally drilled through my sunroom floor so I am waiting to see how that will be rectified. I plan to call the company about my issues hoping they will fix them. // They did come back out & fixed every issue! Everything is now resolved.

"This review came in before we knew of the issue . There was a small miscommunication initially between the homeowner and our technician .This was addressed at the customers earliest available time . The issue with the floor was also rectified the same time at no charge to the customer . Have also spoken with Donna. B and she is happy with her finished product and extra outlets !"

Surprised at first at the youth of the team. However very competent, so had them return and rebuild three ceiling fans, one 12 ft up.

I gave the customer service 3.5 stars only for the appointment time mishap. They said they would be there at a specific time so I arranged my day around that time. When they arrived almost 2 hours late the manager's explanation was I should have been advised there was a 2 hour window, which I was not. The One Call electrician said it would require a whole new rewiring to do a certain project, but another pro figured an easy way to work around the problem. The installation of my fixtures came out great!

The tech arrived about an hour later than the Home Advisor time. The Tech indicated that Home Advisor does not allow for a "window" which is typical for most repair services which makes sense. We were happy with the service.
