With several options, we chose the General Contractor to work with IHS. The cost and quality of work was impressive for our remodel project in Summerville. Communication was great, techs polite, and work quality impressive. I highly recommend!

DO NOT give this business ONE DIME up front! Better yet, DO NOT USE THEM. The owner claims to be Benjamin Egan in case he changes the company name. They ask to paid in stages of completion. For a $14K small bathroom remodel, they collected $5000 up front and 91% of what was due and then stopped showing up to complete the job. Started in August of 2025 and is not complete as of December 2025. The bathroom is still unusable. Workmanship was poor, communication NON EXISTENT. You may see them at the Charleston Home Show where we found them and thought they would be reputable. Their sales guys also lied to us and said they only use employees and NOT contractors. One of the contractors contacted me for payment because this company/Ben did not pay him for the tile work he completed. We asked for a 1 x 3 ft horizontal sliding transom window to be installed in the bathroom and it was installed UPSIDE DOWN and thus will not slide and lock correctly. Siding paint mismatched. BEWARE!!!!

Home Intelligent Services, LLC performed a total gut on my bathroom in my older home. When thinking about hiring a contractor be sure to hire a general contractor like Home Intelligent Services because they are a one stop shop. The company pulled the proper permit, ordered the right materials, handled 100% of the remodel the right way and as a homeowner, this is the experience you want. I recall during the project, the owner wasn't satisfied with the subcontractors paint job so he made them do it over. This demonstrated to me Home Intelligent Services, LLC cared about the quality of the work and the end result. I'm satisfied with the results of my bathroom remodel and will enjoy my new bathroom. If, at some point, I decide to sell, I'm satisfied with the value added to my home by choosing Home Intelligent Services, LLC to complete my remodel.
