Excellent all around.

Our heads were swimming when we looked for a flooring company. Different products, different prices, different reviews it was all very confusing. We struck the mother lode when we hired Herb Melo at Only Wood Floors. The project was to replace carpeting with wood floors in three bedrooms and put vinyl flooring in one bathroom. He did the job promptly, professionally and courteously, even working on Saturday to finish the job. Herb helped break down, move and reassemble furniture, made sure things were clean after his work and never rushed through the job. It was wonderful to find someone who cared as much about the floor he was putting in as we did who were getting it. The floors are beautiful and I know the craftsmanship is excellent. He has my highest recommendation.

Herb is very knowledgeable and will take the time to get everything right. He does not take shortcuts and takes pride in his work. Always on time and on came in on budget. Shopped numerous companies and Herb came in well below. They say throw out the high and low bid, but if Herb is your low bid, its a win-win. I would highly recommend him.

the best i have ever worked with

Herb Melo exceeded our expectations from the estimates to the finished job Herb communicated with us every step along the way. We did not experience any of the customary hassles. Our job was very complex and labor intensive (tear up existing tile floor and cement floor, work around an island, sand and refinish adjacent floors to match etc.). Also remove furniture fridge washer and dryer Herb not only fulfilled his work in finishing existing floors and installing new floors as expected. Did several other repairs as he went along at no additional charge. His assistants including john were great, the Fiinished product is stunningly beautiful. job was done on time at a great price
