Timothy Mead does not deserve even 1 star, he only got one because that is the only way I can write about my experience with him. Please, carefully question his previous ratings. The old man is a master con-man who lies as he breathes. He was supposed to install my carpet on September 2nd, and I payed him $1750 in advance, Today, September 24th I neither have my carpet installed nor a refund. The old man has fed me with lies after lies with no shame.

Tim is very good at what he does. We were able to get a quote in a short time frame and a week later he was able to install the carpet at a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend Tim for your carpet replacement. Name brand company wanted almost 4 times the cost for the same service and quality.

Tim was hired, told me the project on a vacant rental home was progressing well, and when the property was visited 2 weeks later, almost nothing was done. Tim wound up not returning any texts/e-mails and essentially abandoned the project 1/4 of the way through.

Tim is a down home, type of fellow. The kind of guy you know you can trust doing business with. He did a great job matching our carpet color, and was incredibly timely with appointments, installs and cleaned up after himself very well. He was affordable and kind. I would recommend Tim if you need help quick, want it to be affordable and properly done.

If you’re looking to get quality flooring at a reasonable price, this is the company to call! Tim was very easy to work with and never had any problem answering all my questions! He completed the job on time and at the price we agreed upon. Tim replaced my entire townhouse with new carpet and it looks amazing! Would definitely recommend him and use again.

We hired him to pull up old linoleum and parquet flooring. He gave us a good quote. Then, on the day we were supposed to have it done, he texted and said that they were waiting on a tool to be returned to the rental place. Asked if he could reschedule. My wife and I had taken a day off from work, so we needed it done. He told us to hold on and he would see what he could do. We waited and waited. He kept saying he found another location, getting the blades changed, etc. Finally, at 3 pm I called him and he said he had the tool but would not start a project that late in the day, he would be here first thing in the morning. Keep in mind that I would also rent a truck to store our stuff in while they worked, so that is added a day to that. The next morning, he never showed, never answered his phone, never returned text messages, etc. We ended up finding someone else that could start the same day, but were more expensive and cost more truck rental time. Not a good way to do business.

They are not reliable. We met with Timothy he gave us a quote to do the work, he was very nice. However, he never showed up on the date we agreed to perform the work. My husband and I both called him multiple times, he will not answer the phone unless we call from different numbers. He kept saying he was on his way, but never showed up. We went back and forth with this for three days, and we finally gave up luckily we did not give him any money. We planned a lot around getting this carpet replaced, and now we have a renter moving in with an old carpet that needs to be replaced. It is a shame. It did not work because we really liked Timothy and he had competitive prices, however, if you have strict timelines you need to meet I would suggest looking elsewhere.

"I am sorry, as we discussed you were unwilling to put the deposit down. We got your carpet in good faith and of course, when the installation date came, instead of meeting us there your husband is to busy getting a "haircut". He left a key, but I am not doing work for someone that refused to pay a deposit then is not home to pay when the job is done. No self-respecting contractor would... I am happy to help but you will need to pay for the materials first."
