Optimal roofing service was wonderful when they first came out to give an estimate on the work needed to prevent my roof from leaking. They fixed my roof in August of 2021. Later it stormed and I noticed the roof was still leaking, I called them to come out and take another look, thinking that there might have been an area they did not see needing repair in September. They scheduled at date and time to come out and did not show up. I called back, and we rescheduled and they did not show up. This occurred 5 more times with the last call being in January 2022, and they still did not show up. That is why I am writing my review. They were nice and worked quickly, but they did not finish the job. My roof is still leaking and they keep setting up appointments and not showing up. I really tried to work with them, but I had no choice but to write this review. I have been more than patient with them.

Flat, Foam or Single Ply Roofing Repair
Do not hire! I hired them to replace some roofing. They messed up the installation and now every time it rains it also rains my home! They will not come back out to fix their errors. Now I have hardwoods that are bowing, walls and ceiling are soaked. Pretty much worst case scenario and they don t care!

Silvino came out to give me the estimate, and was willing to do everything that was needed to make the repair worth the investment. He was also the one who came out to actually do the work. Cleanup and trash removal was done on the day of completion.

Sivilno Alejo (Optimal Roofing) is the contractor I hired for my roof job last week. He proves to be a very unreliable and unprofessional. He and his brother came and did a careless job, for example, with many old shingles/flashing left on the roof, which were later blown off onto the grounds by the strong wind the following day. I called him and texted him many times but he refused to responded. I am considering taking him to the court if more damages happened.

"I am very sorry we could not meet your expectations. We are happy with the work Mr.Silvino performed and was done to meet warranties. Sometimes clients ask us to perform work or use materials that may cause the warranty to void or will make the repair worse. With his 20+ years experience, Silvino recommended not to use the tar requested from client on the flashing. The repair was done correctly to avoid leaks and allow the roof and chimney to function properly. Adding the unnecessary tar can cause more problems in the future. We were unaware that you were trying to contact us and can reach us directly Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. We will contact you tomorrow."
