Organically Organized NYC

Organically Organized magically moved everything out of the apartment that was my home for 27 years. They handed around 30 boxes destined for England and Florida to my movers. With advanced packing and marking materials, each box is clearly labelled with its contents documented in computer files. In addition to the stuff headed to my new apartments they donated a lot and even sold two large furniture items, sharing the proceeds with me 50-50. I loved working with Organically Organized NYC. My in-laws were coming in from out of town, and I needed to get my spare bedroom in shape—fast. At one point, it looked like a clothing landfill had exploded. Time was of the essence, and they truly delivered. We donated unwanted clothes, organized everything beautifully, and then they staged the room to make it look its absolute best. On top of that, we had a great time collaborating—it was such a positive experience from start to finish. The room was completed on time, and I was genuinely proud to show off my newly organized space. I highly recommend this dynamic duo!!!!!!!

WOW! Who would believe that organization of my large front closet could make such a difference! I can’t stop opening the closet door and looking at it! In this building, the front closets are extra large and I (and most of my neighbors) fill them to the brim, and they become holders of junk. I lose things in them, so I buy them again. For example, I found out that I had 12 balaclavas to wear in winter! I kept buying them because I couldn’t find the ones I already bought because they were so deep in the closet. Now I have two and donated 10. BARBARA Fight, co-owner of Organically Organized NYC, was so nice and so friendly that I didn’t get upset, throwing things away or donating them. I strongly recommend that you hire Organically Organized if you need: 1. A fast and efficient team. I was moving into a one bedroom apartment and feeling overwhelmed by the 40 boxes crowding my living room. Despair turned to wonderment and joy as Barbara and her partner Anduin plowed through the stacks. By the end of the day they’d emptied and carted off all but 3 of the boxes! 2. A team that combines orderly and tasteful into a setting that will charm you. Advising on color selections, art and furniture placement, and where to stow essentials, they arranged my belongings so that they’ll serve my lifestyle and not vice versa. 3. A non-judgy, friendly team. Barbara and Anduin are patient and happy to share their expertise. I couldn’t have asked for a more companionable, educational atmosphere during what would have been an onerous multi-day task for me. 4. Value for your money. OO’s rates may seem high compared to other organizers, but you absolutely get your money’s worth!

Meeting Barbara has been a delightful pleasure ! Everyone needs a “queen of organized chaos “and my vote is on her. From our first encounter to our last session Barbara wasted no time prioritizing my needs. We attacked papers & cards, photos,letters, business supplies, & a filing system that I would remember as we added homework to each session. Getting rid of & shredding years of memories was the most cumbersome - still a work in progress. As we met approx 1/2 dozen times, Barbara systematized clothing closets & drawers- set up “do, discard& done piles.” She attacked old or unused make-up and health & beauty aids - all with expiration dates older than our grandkids ! On finishing touches, she lent her aesthetic eye to finished projects by color coding, placing drawer liners in jewelry cases. Barbara has become part of a great transition at this time of life. I would highly recommend!

Barbara is fabulous! She has helped me move twice now, where she completely reorganized my closet and transformed my apartment to make the most of the space. Barbara redid every single section of the closet and found different bins and organizing tools so that it maximizes the space.
