We needed a room in an older home renovated. Basically some drywall on walls and ceiling, fix holes in tongue-and-groove flooring, refinish floors, and minor electrical. I wish I could post photos here of the atrocious work that was done. They did not even do something as simple as sealing the doorways to other rooms or the heat vents, so my entire house was full of dust for weeks. And the drywall work was sub-par and amateur... bumps and bubbles and uneven spots all over. The floor was even worse... horrible, uneven finish that they painted on with a paint brush so you can see the brush strokes, and the surface was so rough, your socks would catch on the rough wood. Not to mention the nails left sticking up 1/8 in places. They also did significant damage to rare chestnut door frames, and they pounded so hard on one wall that they damaged a wall in the opposite room. I had to pay another contractor to come in to repair the damage they caused. Then, after all this, they threatened to send me to collections for not paying them the final payment even though the contract clearly states that payment would be made upon project completion. We considered suing, it was so bad, but I would rather just forget the whole nightmare. I hope anyone considering hiring this company with think twice.

"I took time out of my day on Christmas Day to go to her house to look at what she wanted to be done. I gave her an estimate and she wanted to pay for all of the materials (her choice). I told her that she didn't get the right stuff, but she still insisted on using the polyurethane for her floors. I told her multiple times that it would not match and she should go with something else. I usually ask for half down to start and she even gave me problems with that, not wanting to give me anything. Not to mention, she gave me and my crew only a week to complete all of the work she wanted to be done. I stayed late multiple nights to make sure her project would get done. After every workday, we cleaned up to make sure there was no dust or mess. We put up plastic throughout the room so we wouldn't damage anything. We never once threatened her. We simply just asked for what was due. If she would have called me and said she wasn't happy or wanted us to go back to fix certain things. We would have been more then happy too, but instead, she canceled the check. We took pictures every step of the way. We are sorry that you weren't happy but you should have just communicated with me and we could have worked something out. We take great pride in our work and our customers."

It was an insurance loss and even though it was far away 30 miles he still came the same day to evaluate the damage and was done and the job finished as promised in a timely fashion and he did not delay me and he kept me informed of the progress and sent photos. He dealt with my insurance and came to a mutual agreement. Jeremy saw a dangling piece of wood and removed it . I trusted Home Advisor.
