Incompetent. As an example, tiled two adjoining walls in kitchen with two different patterns on two consecutive days (without even realizing). When pointed out, they took new tile off of one wall and re-tiled without smoothing the wall. Used incorrect Schluter size on edges and failed to handle corners properly. Extremely sloppy work. Used grout instead of caulk for shower seams. Cracked in less than 24 hours. When asked to rework, the inexperienced worker grouted again (in error). The third time, he used caulk but failed to match the color. Workers were said to be from out of the country with limited/no tile experienced. Not recommended for any tile work.

I had hired someone to install tile in two bedrooms. He finished one room and never came back! So I searched on home advisor for someone to finish the job. Oscar Melendez was highly recommended on Home Advisor and on the Better Business Bureau BBB. org â not one complaint In over 10 years in business! They came right away and completed the master bedroom floor. It looks beautiful. I am very happy that I found Oscar on Home Advisor and will definitely use his business again in the future.

Oscar and 2 other members of his team showed up on time, placed mats on my floor all the way from kitchen to the front door after introducing everyone! They did such a great job and was a real pleasure to do business with. They transformed our kitchen literally in one day with this beautiful backsplash! They cleaned up and literally I could have had company that night! Honest, integrity and old days quality workmanship comes to mind. They were personable and were eager to please!!!

We had a business (Fabri-Tech) do terrible cement work around our lanai, leaving large uneven bulges of cement onto our paver walkway. I wanted to cry! David cut the cement flush with our travertine tiles. Now it looks professionally completed, and the pavers on the walkway are no longer covered in cement.

Crew is friendly and personable, very polite. Trustworthy. Did a good job in a timely manner. I would hire OMI again and recommend them.

They showed up promptly every day, they did a great job. I do however wish they had followed the same size grout line as the other floor, but it still looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again.

Oscar and his crew did an incredible job! They were polite and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and only left when done with the first section. They came back the following day to wrap up the job and continued with a professional attitude. Next project will be larger and I intend to hire Oscar and his team again!
