A+ for Ostmannâ s. I had a great experience with this company. They showed up on time, and are affordable. Low overhead with the small locally-owned company. All employees were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions via phone or in person when they were on-site. I would call them again in a heartbeat after receiving some outrageous quotes from â biggerâ SLC based companies.

Contact Jeremy, owner, he showed up within an hour. He was on his way to SLC to pick up parts. No tools with him, diagnosed as bad gas valve , installed that evening and it only worked for a day. Called Jeremy on Friday, he showed up first thing Monday and stated it was a bad pressure switch this time. Jeremy bypassed switch to get me heat. He stated he would have vendor in SLC ship to him and he would be back on Thursday to install. Jeremy never called back. I called him a Week later. Excuse was vendor never shipped switch. I waited another week , called again, excuse this time he picked up switch but would have to find where his guy put it. Again, no call back. After 3 weeks I called a reliable contractor that also said it was a pressure switch error code. This does not necessarily mean the switch is bad, but indicates you have a problem supplying air to burners or plugged exhaust vent. Contractor cleaned intake flue of dead leaves. Resolved problem and checked back to ensure we had no further issues. Took all of 15 minutes. New contractor stated, never let anyone bypass a safety switch in the future. I paid over $600 to Ostmann s for incomplete work and a gas valve that was not needed. Better Business complaint file and no response from Jeremy to BBB.

"When we first arrived at location, furnace would not fire, gas valve was not working, called Tech support for Lennox, went thru all technical operations and tech support determined it was the gas valve, furnace worked for several days, customer called back and said not working again, went back and pressure switch not closing properly, ordered née one, and had it shipped, called to follow up On shipping, had not been shipped from Lennox, finally received switch, called and texted several times to no response from customer. Service was was done in March, customer left review in June Never received a complaint from the BBB"

They worked hard to secure the parts they needed to get our air conditioner up and running in the middle of summer. They got the entire job done in two days, which included a replacement of the condenser, even though the proper condenser was hard to find.
