Water Heater Installation and Replacement
They installed water heater and didn't give me permit. There was a sewer backflow issue in my laundry room and kitchen. They snaked the pipes once, but only partially. After 15 days it happenned again and they said that they do no give any warranty on snaking jobs. They said it would cost even more this time as they will have to do it from the roof. I called another plumber and he came in, snaked not only the house pipes but also the pipe outside the house. He checked whether water was flowing from the house trap to the street when he saw that there was some grease and blocks, he snaked it free of charge. Our plumber did not own up their mist

Steve, who did the actual work on my apartment, was great! He gets 5 stars!!! I would recommend him to anyone. But the fact that it cost $250 for 30 min of work is ludicrous! I have had plumbing work done in my condo before that was more extensive work and it was never this overpriced. My recommendation to other people is for the work, not the price.

"We provided a written estimate to you to proform the above said work. Now, take into the fact that the work was ask to be completed on a saturday morning. Home owner ask for this due to her renting the apartment that day. And, to sum it up its not just 30 mins. On a saturday it's time and a half, the cost for material to do the work. Not just 30 mins the service tech gets paid for 2hr min."

they did not fix the problem - charged me over 200.00 and then when I called - they said they would be back out to fix it - never showed or called - would NOT recommend. After all they came out and got the problem fixed.

I hired the contractor based on their overall rating of 4 and 1/2 star and gave me reasonable price to install a new boiler. According to the contact the plumber was supposed to pull the permit and pay for it and would complete the job in one day. However, the job was not complete in one day, the electrician came in couple of times to do the wiring but it was not done correctly. Since the end of April 2009 there is no heat my house, THANK GOD, I had this job done in Spring and not winter otherwise I would have to live without heat and all plumbing pipes would have been frozen and would have caused a major chaos.

Quoted a price over the phone. Came on time. Worked quickly and cleanly. Fixed the problem and fixed two small leaks that we didn't know about-no extra charge. Price was exactly as quoted. An honest man in the plumbing business. Unlike some who will charge you $250 to fix a 20 cent problem because he knows how and you don't.

"Sure we did, because a plumbing inspection for the water heater can't be schedule the day you wanted. We don't inspect the work, the town you live in does, sorry you had to take off a day from work. We did post a small credit to your account for missing the day........."
