Don t hire Outbox!!! I had a horrible experience. They were late, took almost 7 hours to load two bedroom apartment worth of furniture. I packed my own boxes so they were extremely slow with loading. I did not get my things until almost midnight the next day. Apparently, the crew that loaded had another job the next day so that is why they could not finish my job that was supposed to take a total of 10 hours door to door.

"Hello Nakesha. Thank you for your feedback. Your movers arrived to your place within scheduled time window. Due to additional items you have on moving day pick took longer than we expected. We were planning to complete pick up within 6 hours but it took longer due to extra items you had and. We deliver your belonging on next day due to truck technical issue. Your moving truck broke down few blocks from your origin location. You were informed right away and we kept you updated all the time. Unfortunately mechanic couldn't put your moving truck back on the road and it was parked next to your origin location overnight. Due to security reason we sent manager to be next to the truck overnight. Manager were securing the truck till the next day. You arrived to the truck location in the morning and talked to manger who slept in the truck overnight. Mechanic were fixing the issue in front you (you were sitting in your car 5 feet away). Once he reseted all errors we sent the truck to your final destination place. We apologize for inconvenience. We understand that extraordinary circumstances do occur and unfortunately mechanical issues can be difficult to predict and sometimes outside of the control. We did the best we could to secure you belongings during the night and deliver it as soon as possible. Nothing was lost and according to your foreman report delivery went well."

We had a pretty small two bedroom town house and the move took forever. They arrived at 10am and were not finished until midnight! And the new house was only 2 hours away. We were told we would have three movers coming. Only two showed up. Apparently, the guys got in an argument in the morning and the third guy was told not to come. We had one really hard working guy and another guy that I had to keep instructing so they would move. In the end, I ended up being the third person and moving a lot of stuff from the truck into the house. They also scratched a couple of pieces which we didn?t notice until they left. Overall - they were the best price and the guys were really nice but I wouldn?t hire them again.

The movers showed up 3 hours late, and the company didn?t answer the phone once in that span of time. Once they got There, the inventory we established was incorrect, and the used that to try and add on the price. It was a horrible experience, and I would recommend going with literally any other company!

The quote was a little higher but worth it. There were no surprises as far as costs. No add ons that other people complained about with other companies. A GPS online that I could follow. Everything ran on time and carefully packed. Great customer service setting the whole thing up via email, text and on the phone. Would recommend highly.

The service was fantastic, the only issue I had was they arrived very late. There may have been an incident early in their day that delayed the rest of their day. But they were efficient and friendly! None of my belongings were damaged. I have a rather complicated bed and they disassembled and reassembled it in no time. I recommend them!

Outbox was always available by phone for asking questions. The one thing I didn't like was having to wait till a weekend day (Saturday) to pay for the contract as they require payment 1-day prior to move, which in my case was a Sunday. When they let me pay over the phone on the Friday, instead, I had problems with my credit card being used at 3 different gas stations w/in an hour. I have no proof who was responsible but Outbox was excellent with arriving early, doing a great job and I would recommend them to anyone as a moving service.

"Hi Steven, thank you for your feedback. Company representative explained you over the phone during your reservation how we collect money and you agreed with that. According to the moving agreement, we had to email you invoice on Saturday but you called on Friday and told us that you don't want deal with invoices and paid over the phone. In terms of the other card transactions we have nothing to do with that because we do NOT collect credit card information in our office and we have no access to such information. To be honest I don't know how somebody could run your card at a gas station without an actual card. Thank you for choosing Outbox Moving."

These guys were well prepared and moved with urgency throughout the entirety of our move. They brought extra materials, since my husband and I did not have the time to properly package everything. They were very understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed having a thoughtful company like Outbox Moving!

Alex was terrific answeriing my questions and making arrangments with short notice. I knew he understood the situation and the estimating online was easy. The payment online was also easy. They showed up within the 2 hour window promised, I made the arrangment 1000 miles away and was concerned after hearing about moving nightmares in NY/Harlem. Carlos did an assessment and then had his 2 men ready for the short move. I had 13 boxes and 1 mattress moved from a 3 flr walk up to a 3 floor elevator in one hour including the commute on a Friday , June 30th, evening. Carlos is a powerhouse and smart mover and was clear on his instructions and mentoring his team. He wrapped the mattress and they were careful with the boxes. It was a GREAT experience and I would use them again! Highly recommend this company.
