It's been almost 6 months and my yard hasn't been completed. I haven't seen them in almost 2 months. Left a lot of their equipment laying around my back yard. I have paid at least $60k so far. There is no communication. If I don't reach out. I don't hear from them. When I do reach out, I may get a reply. Hopefully they will finish it before the year is over

I've recieved a favorable decision with the ROC per complaint 2025-03828 as a result of Scott Knudson (CEO) and Outdoor Homes abandoning my project and leaving permanent damage to my home as a result. Scott still owes me over $55k for incomplete work and damages that I'm currently pursuing. Oscar Navarro is a known associate with Scott and knowingly abandoned our project also.Both of these two, including other staff from Outdoor Homes such as Cathy Pippen, are currently operating under multiple different company names with new associates.

All I can say I WOW! I’ve worked with a LOT of contractors in my past, and when you find a crew that caters to quality and attention to detail you know you’ve found the right one! Scott was great to work with and his team followed suit with the same respect. I’m having them work on a few of my homes in the east valley. They delivered on time, stuck to quoted price and performed outstanding work and best of all. Outdoor homes is the real deal! Bravo guys!

Very unsatisfied! Contract for installation of artificial grass stated "No Seams" since it was a small yard. Ended up with two seams right in the middle of the grass. This was after the first installation which was so poor they had to install it a second time. To get it fixed the first time took over 60 text messages and e-mails (yes, I have all of them) with the owner, Scott. Second installation resulted in two seams which the contract specifically stated would not be. So frustrated getting Scott to replace the grass the first time that I haven't tried to get the seams fixed after the second installation. I am not going through another 60 plus text messages and e-mails to get him to respond. Scott will be quick to come out to pick up your money then forget about it! Oh yea, Scott never once showed up while either of the installations were completed despite repeated requests to do so. I sure wish he would come back out and make this job right! I wish Scott from Outdoor Homes LLC., would contact me and abide by his written contract that no seams would exist.

We used Outdoor Homes LLC to design our backyard. Donovan was our landscape designer & worked with us to get a modern look for our backyard. I appreciated Donovan letting me know what aspects wouldn't work (ex: I wanted a raised area for our yard, but it would make the space look cramped) and working with me on the draft until we were happy with the design. Although we decided to go with someone else to do our yard, I'm happy we started the process with Outdoor Homes!

We meet with Donovan and showed him the plans we had drawn out. He walked around and we asked him around how much would this cost . He said 10,000-20,000. We said right then â No Wayâ we could not spend that much. We were shocked because we had a a lot of the product already for the landscaping job and we told him that. . He then said well let me see what I can do with the numbers. So he knew from the get go what we could not do on a price. Donovan said also we wouldnâ t be the cheapest or most expensive quote., but we will do the best job. So at this point we were told again in order to do a quote it will cost you 690.00. The 90.00 is for the 3D plans that is yours to keep. The 600.00 is for them to even give you a quote and if you use them you get that credited back to you. Then we were told to sign a blank page on his cell phone to have them give us a quote. I have to stress again we told him we can not do anything close to 10,000. He said donâ t worry Iâ m gonna work the numbers. After a week or so he sends us plans and they look nothing like the plans we wanted and drew out. He then spent a hour or so on zoom fixing the plans to what we asked for. So we said whatâ s the price, Donovon said I will come over and show you. When he got here he opened up his laptop showed us a almost 13,000 quote. We were absolutely shocked. He said itâ s the pattern you choose for laying the pavers. So we asked how much more is that and was told a couple thousand. Well thatâ s still way over our budget and we told you we could not do 10,000. He then proceeds to tell us â look at your house you can afford itâ WOW⠦⠦. We were not happy with that comment. Then he gets a coworker on speaker phone to try and sell us on this ridiculous price. We felt like we were in a time share pitch. After Donovon realizes we were not willing to sign on with them he demeanor changed. He left and we both felt scammed out of our 600.00. He knew and should of never said he would work with the numbersâ ¦it was a lie. We asked for our money back for this reason and was denied. The business ethics of this company is AWFUL!!. VERY UNHAPPY UPDATE 07/14/2021: We were ripped off of 690.00. They were told our budget and went over with a quote by almost 8000.00. We paid them 690.00 because we were told they were the best company to work with and that they would work with us and our budget. They would NOT give us a quote until w paid them 690.00. They said 90.00 was for them to make 3 d plans that we get to keep..WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THIS. Then the 600.00 was for them to give us a quote and if we go with them we would get the 600.00 credited. Well guess what the were over double our budget. We feel like we were ripped off. They told us what we wanted to hear to get us to pay 690.00 and ran with our money. DO NOT USE THEM!!

All talk no action. Estimate/proposal all wrong, after correcting major price change despite several discussions. Work incomplete, done wrong, or not at all. Extremely difficult to get ahold of to discuss and correct errors. Only worked with me to correct and complete job after 3 months of communication attempts and threat of reporting to BBB. Owner operator is condescending. Work is still not complete.

Iâ ve had this company do two jobs. The first one was a small area of turf for my dogs and the second one was a putting green and lounge area. They did excellent and professional work on both jobs. The pricing was fair and they installed everything quickly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for good quality turf or putting greens.

I highly recommend Outdoor Homes LLC â We had them extend our driveway to create a beautiful 3 car driveway using brick pavers and they helped to clean up our landscaping. They did the work super-fast, very professional, affordable, and did an awesome job. We definitely will use them again in the future!

Removed and rebuilt portion of cinder block wall in front of house. Also removed cinder block planter in back yard and replanted rose bushes installed irrigation line for those plants and added additional stones for ground cover. A problem was discovered with the irrigation system in the backyard, tried several times over two months to reach Scott. Notified Home Advisors and they were able to contact Scott who then called me and arranged for his team to come out within two days time and installed a second irrigation clock for the backyard landscape . Did great work, irrigation is working again. Very pleased.

They did an excellent job. Neighbors have come by and admired and complimented on their work. It was a 6 day job, they arrived on time and were always courteous when I had a question about the project. They even changed a design feature to my liking without me asking them. Scott, the owner is very professional and Josh the supervisor and his workers are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will recommend them and will also try to register them as an approved vendor for our community. Gary R.

In January I decided to have a wall put around my front patio and hired Scott Knudson of Outdoor Homes to do the job. Working with Scott and his team was pleasure as he always returned my calls promptly, if I didn't get thru to him, when I called and he listened to what I was saying or asking him. They was always here when they said they would be and work was doneI as promised. I considered the work to a good value ande it was done as I had requested. I have received many compliments on the work and appearance on the finished wall. Mike Burica

They did a beautiful job and I absolutely love the backyard. Both Scott and Josh were wonderful to work with and their crew worked very hard and were pleasant a d kind.

Scott and Outdoor Homes we're so great! They listened to me and had no problem making changes to our project. The workers were professional and worked hard! They made our yard look amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Scott is not a trustworthy individual, what is discussed on the phone and in person is not what he delivered. I failed to review details of subsequent quotes and trusted he would do as we discussed live and over the phone. When he stated $850.00 for irrigation I was shocked, he told me he was installing PVC irrigation not the poly line that will last 4 years. He installed roughly 150 feet of poly line for a charge of $850.00. A 200 ft roll of poly line cost $33.82 at Home Depot. Concrete work was also poor and he lied about installing a paver pattern boarder around the turf. Rather than a pattern, he laid single pavers end to end. He denied discussing PVC and the paver pattern and said ;Jerry, you signed the quote, it is right there is The quote listed poly line and linear feet of pavers. Check your quote and make sure he does as he says. Threatened to put a lean on my house when I told him I was considering my options to pay remaining 4k of 12K job. He also did not install slabs per the design which takes away from the overall concept. He is pretty smug and knows he has your signature. Do not do like me and trust him to do as he says.

Outstanding craftsmanship, at a fair price. Scott and his team lead by Josh are great to work with. Our old patio looks wonderful with pavers they installed. Very happy we selected Out Door Homes LLC to do the work. I highly recommend them.

We had pavers installed. This company has excellent customer service. The job was completed professionally and we are very pleased.

Our need was to get it installed within 5 days! All the others said: "I can't." Scott was the only one to say: "I will find a way," and he did! We met on Monday and the <300sf part of the backyard was done by Thursday! Looks great. Only snag was my reaction to the amount of excavation. Wisely, the work was stopped and the guys were sent to lunch while the foreman and I worked it out. They didn't know I was willing to have the turf low to my pool deck so that it would be at the right height for the brick area. Once he understood I preferred, the guys finished the job accordingly. The yard looks fantastic! We went with the densest sample that was not all green. Price? Competitive with the other bids, but when you factor the speed of service, it was more of a bargain. I know what you're thinking, if they are not booked out, they are not quality installers. Yeah...me too. However, these guys were booked out, but had a last-minute cancellation due to an owner not securing HOA approval before they were to come out and do the front yard. That owner's loss was our gain. They did an incredible job on installing my turf! Great price, completely transparent pricing on quality of turf, labor costs, etc. Price came out a few dollars less from the original quote. The whole process took 3 days. I&#39;m super satisfied and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

The value of what you are getting is so significant for what you are paying for including the customer service. Scott stays in contact with all his clients about when they are coming and what is to be done. He immediately comes out to fix anything you don&apos;t like.
