Outstanding performance from start to finish. Doug's skills and capabilities are exceptional. Therefore, unexpected major problems were avoided or corrected with aplomb. The deck was completed ON SCHEDULE WITHIN BUDJET! My family and I feel that the deck is a thing of beauty which we are proud to show to friends and neighbors. Working with Doug was easy, and I expect to start other projects soon.

Great contractor. I hired the company to “tune up” my Trex deck. Price was reasonable, they worked with my schedule and started the job at the time and date that was agreed. Once stated they continued daily until done, within the estimated time. Once done they cleaned up and even put all the patio furniture back. Great job.

Doug and his colleague did a fine job on my deck repair. They were friendly and thorough, started and finished on time with the work completed as promised. The price was fair but not cheap, which is why only 4 stars instead of 5 on that measure. Would definitely hire again.

Owner/Operator Doug Snow does excellent work! He demo'd my old wood fence on three sides & installed vinyl fencing, plus a gate. He came out to give me an estimate & helped me with decisions concerning some 'tricky' fencing on a slope. His solutions were great & the fence is outstanding. Doug was at work early every day, ALL day, until the project was complete. The price was very reasonable. I'm already planning my next project with Doug. Great guy, professional, patient and reliable.

Doug was friendly, personable, hardworking, and very conscientious in his work. We are very happy with the work done.

Doug is very personable and did completed my trellis in a day. He recommended that I use metal that looks like wood so it would not be damaged by termites or wood root. It looks great and I would hire him again.

Doug is a GREAT guy. He is reliable, ethical and you can count on him. He shows up when he says he will and focuses on your job; he doesn't juggle several jobs at one time. We love our beautiful deck.

I hired Doug to partially demolish and rebuild my 12'x16' 2nd floor deck. The completed work was rock solid; top notch carpentry. I was impressed. My only concern is that he performed $600 worth of additional work without first consulting with me. What he did was absolutely necessary for safety and the structural integrity of the deck but he should have consulted with me first in case I didn't have the additional money. With that said, I do appreciate that he demands excellence of himself and it shows in the results. I would definitely recommend Outside Dimensions.

Hired Doug to level , secure and install Azek decking on a 600 sq ft existing deck adjacent to our pool. Due to poor original work, dry rot and ground movement Doug had to nearly replace the entire existing deck. He came in on budget and withing the projected time frame. Showed up on time, organized, good communication, creative ideas and kept a tidy work area. I have not had good experience with the trades and he has restored my faith! I would highly recommend Doug for your next project.

Doug did excellent work. He had some design ideas that proved useful and were incorporated into the project.

Of all the contractors we met, Doug made the best impression for several reasons. He was the only one who brought samples of the materials. He was able to answer our questions and explain his approach, providing examples to back it up. The others couldn't always do this. His bid was also more detailed than the others which showed he really thought about his work. However, we had a big concern. Doug worked alone, while all the other contractors had a team of workers. After researching his work and discussing with him, our concerns were alleviated. We liked his approach and demeanor. We felt like our project mattered and he listened to what we wanted, but wasn't afraid to interject his expertise where needed. Sometimes it felt like we were working with a friend, although he was always professional. And the work he accomplished by himself was very impressive! My mom and her neighbors watched him working from afar, and in fact, he got a little bit of business from my mom's association, too, because they liked what he was doing for my mom's deck. Not only does he have the skill, but he has the business sense and strategy to do it all. If you want the personal touch along with experience and flexibility, Doug is the contractor for you. The only reason the rating is 4.5 is because i am a hard rater. However, we are planning to use Outside Dimensions for other wood work in the future.

Doug was wonderful. His knowledge of patio covers was very helpful in determining the right fit for our house. He ordered the materials and had it installed all within a few days. He was very professional and I would recommend him to anybody.

Doug gave us a very reasonable quote, was on budget, on time, and showed up promptly for the 2-day install. His workmanship is beautiful and you can tell that he takes real pride in his work. He gave us exactly what we asked for. I also appreciated he was upfront about what could and could not be done, or if there were any changes - no unpleasant surprises with this job at all. Doug was great to work with. He always responded to my messages, offered helpful suggestions for our custom cabinet and was friendly and professional. The cabinets were installed in only two days and we are very happy with them! Everyone is very impressed with how they look in our dining room. We would definitely use Doug again and have already recommended him to a neighbor. Also, we felt Doug's price was very reasonable as we had previously received a quote from Home Depot on comparable cabinets that my husband would have installed himself and it would have cost us more. We appreciated Doug's honesty and help with the whole project.

Doug was responsive to the inquiry and to our meetings and design. He made this experience easy and was accommodating to our ideas and added great ideas as well. His cabinets make my kitchen look AMAZING! Looks bigger and so custom! We wished we would've done this years ago! We will definitely use him again in the future and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Our deck project is very tricky due to the closeness to the roof. Doug proposed a new cricket and removal of partial of the roof underneath the deck. He took care of us (the siding of the cricket was not done by Doug because the roofer had covered it). He tried hard to fit his schedule for our project even he need wait a week for the plastering company and roofer to finish their job. It is very hard to find someone who you can trust and who thinks of what they are doing. Doug is one of them.

Doug Snow replaced approx. 350 sq. feet of my compromised 2nd floor balcony with anew 5 layer Desert Crete System. The job also included refinishing 300 sq. feet of wrought iron railing. by removing, sanding & applying 2X coats of metallic paint. The whole job along with doing some extras for me ,took 5 days. He always showed up on time along with 1 helper. He took a lot of pride in his work and had a with a dry sense on humor! The total cost was $4640 but I gave him an extra $100 because I was so pleased with his work and he gave me a 5 yr. warranty. I felt the most important thing about Doug Snow was that he "really cared."
