Joe is the most meticulous and conscience contractor I ever hired. The quality of his work is outstanding. He is also well versed on all the latest products and techniques which is a major factor when considering a bathroom remodeler since improper waterproofing techniques can ruin the most expensive remodels.

Joe Peragine of Outside In Home Improvements renovated my parentsâ bathroom in the home theyâ ve shared for almost 60 years. The bathroom needed to be made wheelchair accessible, while retaining the midcentury feel that, to my parents, says â home.â From the first meeting and throughout the planning/design phase, Joe was sensitive to my parentsâ needs, preferences and budget. He collaborated on layout, came up with creative solutions to logistical problems, and advised on best sources for the fixtures we wanted. In addition to which, he was just a pleasure to work with. Once the work started in earnest, Joe went out of his way to minimize the interruption to my parentsâ lives. He worked quietly and meticulously, keeping the door to the small space closed so there was virtually no dust or mess; when he left each evening, you wouldnâ t know heâ d been there. He worked at an impressive pace, but with extraordinary attention to detail, from creating the curbless shower (thereâ s now a 5â x 6â roll-in shower area in that tiny bathroom!) to resolving decorative tiling challenges that most wouldnâ t have bothered about, but in his hands turned out beautifully. My father, who is notoriously difficult to please, was deeply impressed by the quality of Joeâ s work and absolutely delighted with the result. My motherâ s life has been made infinitely easier by his thoughtful renovations. Working with Joe has been 180 degrees away from my previous experiences with renovations and contractors; the process was not only painless but surprisingly enjoyable. And the new bathroom has exceeded our hopes both aesthetically and functionally â wonderful!

This is the second bathroom Joe remodeled for me that was last remodeled in the 50s. His work ethic and his expertise in tiling, both floor and shower, were excellent. His work is precise and he goes the extra mile to make sure everything is the way we wanted the bathroom. We found Joe on Homeadvisor and as soon as I posted my Bathroom remodeling requirement he called immediately and was very profession from the start to the end. Joe shows up when he says he will every day consistently. He treated my house as if it was his own with his care of detail and keeping it immaculate while he is in the process of getting it down to the bones and putting it back together again, he does his best to keep it safe for houses like my own that have little toddlers running around. We had one of the worst winters and my husband was away on business and Joe was kind enough to take out my snowblower and clear out my driveway, which also shows he is all around a good person. Every day he showed up to work no matter how bad the weather, and the same plumber and electrician as well throughout the process. I trusted Joe and his team that we went away for a week and left him the keys and there was not any concern for money or valuables to be taken, I had complete peace of mind throughout this project, and he has earned my families trust. Another thing about Joe is that he is proactive to not just remodel your house but to make sure your house is up to code, but he is going to point out what���s leaking, what���s broken, what hasn���t been insulated correctly, he cares about doing it right the first time, he checks his work, the key thing as a client is always be sure to communicate with Joe what you want of course because he isn���t a mind reader and just keep going over things to make sure you are both on the same page. He is a contractor that works well with email and texting which I think is important for people that work out of their homes to keep communication going. My one bathroom remodel turned into a 2nd bathroom remodel followed by a kitchen remodel over 4 months with Joe and his team because he earned my trust and business. ��� Laura Laudicina Darien CT

Joe turned a retro '50s' bathroom into a beautiful new bathroom. His work was top notch and I would and have recommended him to friends and family. We also had Dave who did the plumbing and he as well did a great job and I am looking forward to hiring them again for another bathroom.

Joe did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom. He pulled out an old tub and installed a new tiled walk-in shower area. He is a true professional; Communicates expectations, shows up on time, and cleans up his work space daily. Would highly recommend him.
