B.A.M. Painting

I could go on and on, but this was the worst paint job I have ever seen. He got paint all over my kitchen cupboard hardware. Did not complete the job, left out several areas like behind the refrigerator, around the inside soffit, etc. He claimed it was about 500.00 for supplies and showed up with a 5-gal bucket of maintenance paint from a big box store. (About 50.00). He should be ashamed to have taken advantage of an elderly widow.

We hired Matthew Wildes, Outstanding Outcome Painting, to stain and paint the exterior of our home. After receiving our written estimate and paying our deposit, we were told he would get back to us by the end of that week with a solid start date. He never confirmed when he would begin work and instead showed up at our house when we were not home, moved our personal property that was near the house, removed all the window screens and texted us after he was done to let us know that he had power washed. When we arrived home that day we discovered damage to our gardens, trash left in the yard, water on the inside of all our windowsills and a subpar pressure washing job. When we reached out to Matt about our concerns multiple times via text and phone calls, his communication was very limited, and he did not address most of concerns. He failed to take ownership of the damages and lack of respect to our property. His communication and dedication to our project continued to decline. He promised to drop off color ideas multiple times saying he would come a specific day and then he would not show up. He also began pushing our project out saying he was running behind or had something come up. After a few weeks of trying to communicate with him, we let him know we no longer wanted to move forward, and he has become unresponsive. This seems to be his standard business practice based on our experience and Dereks review below. Very unprofessional and unreliable, extremely glad we did not continue this project with him!

Hired Matt to stain my decks and paint all exterior trim. Was told it would be done in a week. I have given up after 2 months. They show up 2x a week for 2 hrs a day if lucky. House looks twice as bad as it was before they started. Painted all trim first then decks, they did not cover the trim and got stain all over the trim. Matt promised he would make it right. Stopped answering my calls, would just text me back saying he was coming this afternoon to finish. Unfortunately, I was out of town when he finished the decks, so I overnighted him the final payment. That was a month ago. Most unprofessional, unskilled contractor I have ever hired. I would have given him 0 stars if possible!

Matt and his crew did an excellent job on our entire downstairs ceiling and upstairs hallway, and he is the sweetest guy. He was available on short notice, and completed a large amount of work in only a day and a half. I love his efficiency and can-do attitude.
