Overhead Door Company of Terre Haute was founded in 1929 as part of the W.J. Giffel Company. The Current owner Jim Stolt purchased the business in 1996. Today Overhead Door Company of Terre Haute has 9 employees and 4 service trucks on the road. We serve 5 counties in Indiana and 5 counties in Illinois. We work on residential and commercial doors and operators. From a 6x6 golf cart door to a 40' hanger door we have a solution for almost any opening. We are an IDEA Accredited Dealer and an A+ Better Business Bureau accredited company. We are also members of various community organizations like the Greater Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association of Greater Terre Haute, and Associated Building Contractors of Terre Haute. For over 80 years we have provided superior customer service for the Wabash Valley and look forward to serving you for many more years.

Garage Door Repair
Hired this company to help with a basic garage door problem. I was told it was an electrical outlet issue and to find an electrician to fix it. After a couple of "repairs" to cover up the issue of the tech not knowing what he was doing and lubed and oiled the springs he charged $120 for a 15 min service. Come to find out, the door sensors were misaligned and that fixed the issue. As a female, I feel like I was taken advantage of. The company might be ok, but they need to re-educate their techs on how to fix simple problems.

I am disappointed with them I waited a week for them to come and repair my door opener but when they got to my home they said it couldn't be repaired and I needed a new one ok but then they say we don't have one on our truck! Really why not? Shouldn't this be a part in stock! Then he says I will let you know when I get back to the shop should get one in tomorrow ! No he doesn't call back so I call them! She says oh it will be next week !! Really and I already paid 75:00 for the service call what servuce!! Not Happy at all I have been lifting my door my hand now for 2 weeks ' not using them ag
