About us

Overly's Electrical Service is located in Springdale, PA and currently employees fourteen electricians. The company was formed in September 2000 by myself, Jason Overly. After graduating from Triangle Tech I worked for an electrical contractor for four years. The experience I gained from this contractor was very valuable, but I was very frustrated with the poor customer service and my lack of control of how the customers were treated and the jobs were scheduled. I formed Overly's Electrical Service to be a small customer oriented business. I believe that servicing the customer is the most important aspect of my job and therefore I deal directly with all of my customers. I was contacted by Overly Electric promptly. He sent an employee to the house at an agreed upon date and time, who assessed the needs based on my list of desired electrical jobs. I received a very nicely put together folder including the suggested equipment to replace some faulty equipment. He took time and effort to choose the best option for me. I then got a couple of emails which included itemized, detailed lists of all labor and equipment costs. Jason followed up a few days later with a phone call to answer any questions. I was impressed and pleased by the service I received from Overly Electric.

The electrician that came out was very friendly and professional. I'd definitely bring him out again. He resolved my issue in half the time I expected for troubleshooting. The price was actually lower than I expected to pay too. I have quite a few tasks planned and definitely plan on having this company back out again.

I am pleased with the results. I had expected Jason to make the repair in person. But, he sent one of his employees who was efficient and polite. I did not realize that Overly's Electrical is large and handles many commercial accounts.

I guess the work was good, the house hasnt burned down yet. Pleasure to have had the work done by jason, I will definitely reccomend you to anyone i hear looking for an electrician. By the way, i called that inspector that day and gave the WO# from Allegheny Power to her and she said she would get it scheduled but i havent heard Back. Does it usually take him a while or do you think i should call him back. I just dont want to irritate him. Thanks Again.
