Our existing Owens Corning wall panels had been damaged in a basement flood. Although the framework and panels had changed since our initial install some 20 years ago, they custom made new panels that fit perfectly. Additionally, they replaced interior doors and repaired drywall. The work was done on our schedule and done to our satisfaction.
Their customer service was great. They came back out to adjust a door that wasn't closing perfectly.

We'd been planning to remodel our basement for a long time, and had spoken to a lot of contractors over the past few years. We finally decided to go with these guys as they, and the Owens Corning system, gave us more confidence that it would deliver what we needed. Right from the start, the team was great to work with - taking care of all the necessary permits etc. They were able to start work ahead of schedule as well, which was great. We weren't at the property during the remodelling, but the team was easy to work and communicate with - they kept us up to date at every step, regularly sending pictures of progress. Once the remodelling was complete, we had a walk-through and pointed out a few small issues (closet doors not quite aligned - that kind of thing - nothing major). They returned to address those issues within a few days. The result is a fantastic new basement space - we couldn't be happier and we'd recommend these guys every time.

I recently completed an approximately 800 sq. ft. basement renovation with Owens Corning/Lux Renovations, including a full bath and wet bar, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The project began earlier than expected, stayed on schedule, and was completed beautifully in five uninterrupted weeks.
Our project manager, David Guimaraes, was professional and always accessible by phone or text, and onsite weekly, while onsite supervisor Alvaro was present daily and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction—including adjusting a wall so a large piece of furniture would fit perfectly.
The materials were high quality, and I appreciated the flexibility to substitute my own fixtures, with changes made seamlessly and without issue.
I love my basement!!! If you are interested in doing a basement renovation, I would highly recommend this company. Basement renovations are their business and they are great at it.

Ultimately everything went exactly as agreed. I am very happy with the work and the material we selected. The basement was mostly finished prior to the project, but we have noticed a huge improvement in the areas that were added and the all new flooring. The added electric was done professionally and it showed. The communication was fantastic with the project manager, who was responsive and courteous. I would recommend this addition or renovation to anyone who’s considering it. The value it adds to a home and to your lifestyle is worth every penny.

The job was done well! Owens Corning helped us make a good plan that accommodated the existing laundry and water heater areas and provided us with some needed storage space off the staircase going down to the finished area. This company is wonderful. They were prompt, the supplies that they used were quality materials, the contractor that worked in our basement was professional, friendly and and so helpful. The work was completed as scheduled and the basement is gorgeous. The family room looks better than I ever thought it could look. We are so happy with work that was done. The family room looks and feels so much better. The insulation that was used has made the room feel warm and pleasant. The family room that we had before was just a room. Overall, the finishing of my basement went pretty smooth. The Owens Corning product, drop down ceiling, and flooring are all really sharp. In the beginning everything went fast and smooth with the framing and wall/floor/ceiling install being done within 2 weeks. There were some hiccups with minor imperfections, tv mount in wrong spot, etc. Those were fixed promptly. After that is when I ran into issues with other items in my contract that were not taken care of and the project felt forgot about. Just had some minor electric work, stairs to get carpeted, and didn't receive hanging clips yet. I had to constantly ask about these items and every answer would be "I forgot to ask or send the clips". I eventually got the items completed, but am not happiest that it took almost a month and constant reminding to get these items that should've been scheduled for during the project.

The team was great to work with. We finished 400 sqft of our basement with the full system. Our salesman and he covered all the topics, materials, costs, timelines and expectations very well. The crew doing the work was very professional, respectful and kept us updated of the progress and of any issues arose during installation that was outside of their control. Our PM provided guidance on decision ensuring code was met while getting the aesthetics we were looking for. Overall, I would work with them again for a large project like our basement.

Very happy with the basement. Work actually started 2-3 weeks earlier than expected. We were told the job would last about 4-5 weeks. Basement work was completed in about 4 weeks. Very professional. No worries about whether the plumber or electrician would be available. We discussed small changes to the layout (e.g., where the sink in the bathroom would be located) and everyone was very accommodating.

The Lux Renovations crew did an excellent job with our basement project. We were able to transform 800 square feet of unfinished space into a rec room with areas for ping pong, exercise and watching TV. We went with the paintable wall panels and were happy with that choice. We also went with the Karndean vinyl flooring in nude Danish Oak finish and are happy with the light hardwood floor look. The crew was very careful with all measurements, and the end result is a nicely finished space with all walls and ceilings and doors perfectly plumb and true. Dave G. was our project manager and was great to work with. James was our on-site supervisor, and he worked long days to keep the project on track and was highly skilled at everything he did.
