Owyhee Overhead Door, LLC

slow to finish the job

The owner of this company came to My home, recommended by HomeAdvisor. He gave us some options on doors and openers and then said the door we wanted would take 4 weeks to order. He required half down so we gave him $750 as a deposit. During this time not once did the owner Roger Maczink contact us. After waiting the 4 weeks without contact I called the guy and he said he got the order in late and would be another week. After another week of him not staying in contact, like he said he would, he wouldn t answer my phone calls so I had my wife call right after me and wouldn t you know it he answered right away giving her the same excuse. Another week went by and now he won t answer either of our calls. As of right now it appears that he stole $750 from us. Do not use this company! Looks like we will now be in a legal battle to get our money back. At the very least this guy is a horrible communicator but right now I m just hoping to get our money back.

Thanks again for fixing my garage!!

He call me ahead and ask me the favor to take some pictures and text to him so he can be sure he had the right part, to do the repair. This was a great idea since he is driving from one project to another in a big area. Thus ensuring my time and his is not wasting because you donâ t have right parts or it was just use then he could restock and get the job done. He quote who much repair will cost. Rodger was a great customer service person. Will recommend to any one.

good response and good service. efficient.

Response time was excellent! Very Professional! It was comforting to know that what was my BIG PROBLEM was so easily repaired and put my mind at ease! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Owyhee Overhead Door! THANK YOU , THANK YOU , THANK YOU!

Very professional and caring!

Fast response, estimate was the cost, no hidden costs. Provided extra service on our other garage door, no extra charges. Explained in detail after completing great work and service.

There were some scheduling problems, resulting in the repair starting late and taking longer than expected.

The technician was knowledge and quick. He took time to answer all my questions.

Quality work, some scheduling difficulties but, more than made up for those.

He did a quick evaluation of the problem and fixed it. Charges were very reasonable

Prompt and very friendly. Clearly an expert at garage doors.

We thought gthe service tech was very good and knowledegable. Was very kind and sincere.

Perfect experience! Roger is awesome... Prompt response, reasonable prices, customer service second to none! Highly recommend!!!

They were quick to respond - but they were not ready with the right materials (they brought materials for a 7 foot door vs. the 8 foot door I have). So, they needed to come back the next day. The installer did not have wire nuts and wanted to leave the wires with electrical tape only. I asked that he purchase the wire nuts and install them. He did. Then the wires were hanging loose, un-bundled. Fortunately, I had zip-ties and the installer added those. I let the installer have extra zip-ties of mine so this would not happen to the next person. I went up and wrapped the power cord around the brace and swept up...also I wiped the greasy finger-prints off the door exterior. I do not fault the installer on this - as the owner sets the standard of excellence. i would not want to ever use this contractor again.

Roger was very helpful and on time. Fixed the problem with the door in less than an hour for a fair price. Would have him work on the garage doors again. Highly recommend.

He did not repair the door, however, he came to our home and left us with the wire for the simple fix my husband can do himself. Fantastic service. Next time I will call them and I will recommend this business to my clientele..

He answered the phone promptly and was willing to come when I could be home. That was 8 p.m.! He was very accommodating, pleasant, professional, had all the parts needed and was efficient. Didn't leave a mess or broken parts. Left my garage door better than it ever was before, quieter. I recommend Owyhee Overhead Doors highly.
