The owner, Rick, personally showed up to do the estimate when he said he would. He provided a reasonable estimate and the rationale for how he intended to replace my driveway made the most sense compared to other vendors. I gave Rick a specific and he contacted after I called and said I was ready to have the work done. He said he could do it the next day. His crew showed up on time. Rick was their the entire time to supervise. The crew did a quality job and finished the job as promised. Rick has been in the business for over 50 years and knows what he's doing. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Rick is very easy to talk to. Was on time to give estimate. Was on time to do work.Took two days to complete work. He and crew were very professional and courteous throughout project. Would highly recommend.

One thing that make me very uncomfortable dealing with these guys is the feeling that I am getting scammed. In this case, the Paveco guy gave me an estimate that seemed very reasonable, and it matched one of the other estimates I got. He submitted his first, so I went with him. However, on paving day when I am on my way to work, the guy calls and says well we started picking up the old pavement and noticed that there is no under layer...that the original driveway was just asphalt on dirt. He says he needs to do an under layer with gravel at another $600 or preferably, an asphalt under layer for $1200 or it will fail. REALLY? Well, I am locked in at that point and the contractor knows it. When the estimate was made, the contractor did not look to see what was underneath the top layer...and it would not have been a problem, since there were all kinds of cracks and weeds growing through the old asphalt.. So my advice is make sure the estimate includes whatever under layer you need because you will get jacked up if you do not.
