PA's A Plus Restoration

We had a chimney with damage to the stone facade. PA A Plus Restoration contacted us promptly after we found them through ServiceMagic. They were at our home within days to survey our chimney and give us an estimate. Their estimate was detailed and complete, and they were very open to questions. They had no problems conducting business via email as well as on the phone. Once we sent back a signed agreement, they arranged a mutually-agreeable date to get the work done. Before they finished, they showed us where previous owners had taken shortcuts in earlier chimney repairs, and why those repairs had probably contributed to damage they fixed.

Excellent turnaround and flexible to my work schedule. I would try them again.

Milton was very professional and curteous. His work was very good and neat. It was a very small job but important to me to get done before winter. Milton did not short cut the job because of it's size, which impressed me. He also did not not overkill the job where others gave me estimates to shore up my porch roof, tear out all of the brick, and re-construct the entire porch face. Milton kept it simple and effective; grind out old grout and repoint. This also impressed me.

The work was completed in two days and looks very nice. The only problem we had was they did not come in the time frame they told us. This is a problem when you have people waiting to do something else.

Not only did PA A+ Restoration called me within one-half hour of my request, they sent a company representative to my home within hours! Because I was working in another state, I received the proposal for the completed job both by telephone and email. Out of the three proposals I received for this job, PA A+ Restoration was the most professional. The work that was done on a falling down, crumbling brick chimney was outstanding. I would highly recommend this company.

Mr. Clarke was very professional while working with me. He was able to give information on what materials were needed to be used on my 100 year old house to make the tuck-pointing blend with the rest of the wall. The work was completed in two days.
