My wife and I decided to build a house in Westerly and had all of the subcontractors lined up. I had a framer who was recommended my a family member, but they canceled the job the week before the material was set to arrive. I scrambled and did a lot of research and found Eric. I used homeadvisor and sent out a request. Eric called me within 15 minutes of submitting the form. His prices were dead on and reasonable. We met in the morning and he was hired. The house is over 4000sq ft and he started in late July. The house was finished framing by the end of September. Eric made some key recommendations that turned my 3000sq ft house into a 4000sq ft house for very little cost. Every day I felt like he was coming up with new ideas and offered suggestions. I went with his suggestions because it was for the benefit of building a well-built home. He showed up everyday with his crew of 6 guys, which made the process run smoothly. Eric is very knowledgeable when it comes to building a home and has your best interests in mind. Communication was never an issue and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The building inspector came out and complimented Eric's work. They didn't find one thing to fix. They clean up after they are done and have a lull to speed up the process. The crew is great and I highly recommend Eric and his crew.

Everything has been great! They had to put up with a lot of changes because it was a custom built home. The customer service has been amazing and I couldn't be happier!

PBJ completed a sturdy deck built to our specifications. The original estimate for completion was 7 days; it took 22. Failed to call and notify us numerous times when they were not going to make it. Originally contracted to remove an above ground pool & deck; it took them so long I removed the pool by myself and carted off a large pile of debris which sat in my front yard for over a week. Contrary to prior agreement, asked my wife for final payment prior to completion. Dozens of cigarette butts left littering the ground. Deck gates not square, won't close properly with splintered boards.

Eric and his crew did a fantastic job with the deck. Eric was here within two hours of my inquiry to give me a quote on the rebuild of my deck which was destroyed during hurricane Sandy. He followed up a day later and we sat to discuss the project,. Great recommendations were made after discussing what we wanted and Eric considered our budget the whole way through the process. Within three days, the PBJ crew was hard at work and within a week the project (2nd level deck 12" X 28") was complete. Eric came back after a couple of days to make sure we were completely satisfied. Great experience, I would not hesitate to hire PBJ in the future.

This was the first time that I used Servive Magic. I am glad I did. Everyone that gave me estimates were timely and professional. PBJ construction was my best value for the money. I would use them again for any outdoor project

Some work was not completed satisfactorily, and required additional visits. Overall the work was performed well and on time.

We are very satisfied with the work and would without a blink of an eye hire Eric and his company to do any other jobs that need to be done. Eric and his staff all had great personalities and very pleasant attitudes,very clean and efficient detailing of their work and work habits.

We can't wait to start all of our projects, it is exciting to find someone that will work with you , so many contractors just tell you how it is going to go and what it will cost. PJ is willing to listen to us and make suggestions.

Great. Lots of suggestions too. The living room is turning out better than I expected. I will probably use his company for the rest of the house projects over the next few years.

Eric was AWESOME!!! He did a great job with our basement remodel. He listened to what we wanted and offered great advice in areas we needed help with. He is very professional. Ready to quote on the spot and provided pictures of his work. We are very happy with the results and would recommend him for any type of construction job around the house!

Price was right. Did a great job installing crown molding and tile floor. Granite backsplash on vanity was not adhered properly(only a small bead of adhesive and not sealed) and had a small issue with the electrical shorting out. Failed to put molding behind vanity and is not visual appealing. Other than those issues he was pretty punctual and had good attention to all the other detail.

Other than a few miscommunications and some clean up issues, The job went well and we are very pleased with the final results. Eric was very easy to work with and came up with some excellent suggestions to compensate for our space restraints.
