Having decided I wanted to remodel my kitchen, I embarked on the task of hiring a contractor. I'll admit that I was not looking forward to this as I had heard several horror stories from friends and family about their poor experience with contractors, so I had basically resigned myself to the fact that this was going to be a painful process. To my (pleasant) surprise, the process couldn't have gone more smoothly. When it came to picking the contractor, Paul (the owner) was super easy to setup an appointment with, answered all my questions, showed me my options, and worked with me to get the project within my budget without sacrificing quality or options. Paul was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the entire process - he answered his phone when I called and responded to my texts and emails always within 24 hours (often within just a few minutes). Paul also made sure to stop by the house every day and check on the progress of the remodeling job (unlike other project managers that you never see or hear from once the project starts). He made sure to keep me informed throughout the whole process, letting me know what was going to take place when and just always making sure I knew the latest daily updates and status of the project. When it came to the actual work, I couldn't be more pleased. The two primary employees/workers assigned to do the actual job (Rolando and Carlos) were courteous, very friendly, worked quickly, and showed real attention to detail. They were genuinely interested in doing a good job and took pride in their work. I'm sure they could have taken some shortcuts that I would have never noticed but it was obvious they wanted the job to be perfect and so I saw them constantly measuring, remeasuring, and adjusting until everything was exactly perfect. The workers respected the house and did their best to make sure the remodeling didn't disturb the rest of the home as far as debris, etc. They showed up on time each day and cleaned up after they were done at the end of the day. They covered the carpet and flooring in order to protect it and put up a plastic barrier to keep the kitchen dust from the rest of the house. In total, it took exactly two weeks (no work done on weekends) to gut the kitchen and install the new cabinets, granite countertops, sink, and a backsplash (and that included a snow storm that dumped 30" of snow during the middle of the project) When a few unexpected issues came up that could not have been anticipated before the work was started, Paul was very fair to do the work that was needed to get it up to code and not overcharge/ take advantage of me (and I know this because I got quick estimates from other contractors to fix these small code issues and Paul's price was right in line with them). We had two bathrooms completely renovated and Paul and his team were great to work with. They were friendly, courteous, and most importantly-- professional. Paul listened to our ideas but also gave us suggestions on things that may work better. And even when we changed our vision at times, he was patient and flexible to work with us. His goal is to make you happy-- and we were happy. Our bathrooms are the best rooms in the whole house!

The work that was done was excellent and ahead of schedule. The pricing was very fair and Paul and his team worked very hard and professionally throughout the process. Paul was very easy to work with and provided good insight and reccomendations and was always available. Working with PCB was an excellent experience.

We were very happy with the work done. Prior to moving into a new home, Paul helped us envision renovation possibilities, as well as recommendations, then made our vision a reality with fair pricing and professional workmanship. New floors and paint on all main floors as well as complete renovations of bathrooms made the house seem new. I highly recommend giving a call to PCB.

They have done outstanding work. They use drop cloths to cover everything form dust. They are respectful of the house and clean up well. Our bathroom looks great. The owner Paul is very thorough and good at giving us advice when we need it. They have also done a kitchen remodel and a new deck. We would give them the highest review on all projects.
