PCS Construction completely remodeled our kitchen, master bathroom/closet, added two additional bedrooms, refinished all the cabinets in our home and replaced flooring throughout our house. They did a fantastic job which was completed in record time. Steve was extremely responsive...always immediately responding to any questions. His crew was outstanding; their workmanship and skills unparalleled. We were in great hands and will readily use them again for our bathroom remodel.

Working with Steve, owner of PCS Construction, was a wonderful experience. I have never remodeled a home before and from the beginning he made the whole process easy. Steve is calm, explains the whole process thoroughly and always takes time to listen to ideas and answer questions. His wife Cindy was a huge help in the design process and had wonderful ideas and was so gracious. Steve is very professional and his work is top notch. From start to finish it has been a pleasure working with him. I would highly recommend PCS Construction.

I would rate them a 10 because they gave me twice as much as I was looking for. The crew provides exceptional customer service. They are proactive in giving some advice when asked for. They have years of experience. I got advice as to color, and other aspects where choices were necessary. When you hire them you get full blown support from an existing crew that have stayed together working for PCS for quite some time. They work smoothly together and for their customers. They get along with themselves and with customers. I find them quite entertaining. LOL I will miss the whistle of the man that painted our walls. LOL I will miss his whistling and the personalities of the crew. All for no additional cost. LOL The end product was better than we expected.

Steve and his team of pros were great to work with. They were very communicative and understanding when we asked our homeowner questions. They even considered our needs during the construction phase and built us a door to the work zone so we would not have to walk around our home to see what had been accomplished each day. We would definitely work with his team on our future projects.

It didn't take long to realize we could Trust them to do very good work and finish on time. Great people to work with.

Steve, the owner, is conscientious. He completed every one of my requests including change orders. His workers are well trained, and he and his wife even helped me pick out finishes and colors.

Short summary: You will be hard pressed, in our opinion, to find a better company than PCS to work on your remodeling project regardless of size and scope. If you want a five star result for a fair price, on time and professionally done, you need to talk to Steve and Cindy Beyler about considering your project. PCS should be on your short list of potential remodeling specialists and if you are fortunate to retain their services, you won’t be disappointed. We own a mid-70s, three bedroom two bath 2400 square foot home in North Auburn in a great location – no desire at all to move to a new house. In the almost 30 years we’ve been here, we’ve done a lot on the outside (paint, roofing, insulation, windows, etc.) and built a couple of outbuildings on the property. We also remodeled the kitchen in 2004 which exhausted us so much we didn’t want to tackle anything else until we were both retired and could devote all of our time and energy to getting it done right. Sound familiar? The biggest trepidation in both of our minds (after watching too many episodes of “Holmes Makes it Right”) was finding a competent, trustworthy, easy to get along with contractor to take on our job and getting it done in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price and no monkey business. After calling Steve, he was out within a couple of days and he patiently (one of Steve’s many characteristics) spent more than three hours doing a walkthrough of the house, listening to our ideas and taking copious notes. Although we didn’t want to do any serious structural work on the house, our scope of work included literally everything else, minus the kitchen cabinets and countertops. This included a total gut and redo of both bathrooms, new flooring throughout, new baseboards, the addition of crown molding to the entire house, new interior and closet doors, window and door casings, and a total electrical audit to correct any found deficiencies and the installation of recessed LED lighting throughout the house. We also wanted to redo the interior of the attached two car garage that was way beyond tired and was becoming an embarrassment. Steve responded in short order with a several page project proposal. It was clear during the review and subsequent discussion and refinement that he was totally engaged (another characteristic of Steve is that he makes you feel like you are his only client although he has many at once) and is more than willing to explain all aspects of the project to any level of detail requested. Steve is a great communicator and is always checking to make sure we understood the points he was trying to make. We signed on, moved most of our stuff into storage and spent the next five months watching our home go from a nice but modest abode in need of a refresh, to essentially a new home that rivals any custom new construction house, inside and out, you can find in the area.

This is the 3rd remodel where we hired PCS. Steve and Cindy are very creative and listened well to our concepts. They were very responsive to our needs and always available during the project. Anytime you do a major remodel there will be surprises. PCS was excellent at solving unexpected problems and creating a beautiful project. Their remodeling ideas were fantastic. Their crew is very professional, talented and competent. We felt very comfortable having them in our home. I will use them again on our next project. I highly recommend them.

Steve and his crew from PCS walked us thru our whole project. Steve had suggestions for things we didn't think of during our remodel and helped us save money by helping us choose the right places to shop for the granite, etc. PCS Construction is professional, clean and trustworthy. When working with a contractor I was worried about hefty price markups when it came change orders. Not with PCS Construction! Steve treated us very fair throughout our remodel and never over charged for additional things we requested to have done above our original contract. PCS main goal is customer satisfaction! We chose PCS construction for our house remodel and we are very pleased with the quality of their work. We bought our house 12 years ago new from the builder in Roseville. We love our location and neighborhood though realized that the style of our home was becoming very dated and had major shortcomings. After considering moving to a new home we decided it was best to remodel. Our project included many areas of renovation including adding floor space, removing structural arches and walls, adding new folding glass doors, new modern powerful fireplaces and kitchen granite, cabinets, sinks and flooring. We interviewed numerous different contractors and chose Steve Beyler from PCS due to their experience with live in remodeling, competitive pricing and quality efficient work. The project did run into some unexpected obstacles though Steve was great at making sure we could always move forward with our project. He was even able to save us significant money on the permit due to his experience with working with the city and inspectors. Every step of the way we felt well cared for. PCS hires quality craftsmen for the different trades and their core crew was experienced, respectful, and truly nice. I would trust them to babysit our children. They also use professional efficient subcontractors that were all masters of their trade. They were trustworthy and showed up on time. After numerous conversations with Steve the owner I can tell he truly takes the time and effort to hire only the best employees and subs. We are so happy we found PCS construction for our project. After hearing horror stories about other contractors not showing up or not being true to their word or up charging and cheating customers. We were very cautious about hiring a crew that would be in our house for months with our family. With PCS our concerns and fears were unfounded. We plan on doing all of our remodeling projects with Steve and PCS construction in the future. We have no hesitation with highly recommending PCS to anyone in the future.
