About us

My name is Pat T. Aschliman, and along with my wife Doris Dietrich we own PDQ FLOORING LLC. We are eager to introduce ourselves to you, and to let you know who we are and what we do. I am a flooring professional with 9 years experience and training. That is 6 years in Brick & Mortar flooring outlets and 3 years on my own with our business PDQ FLOORING. It is my goal to make the chore of choosing and purchasing new flooring as easy and stress free as I can. I will come to you with samples, and save you the trouble of running back and forth with different samples, I will do the running for you. I will set up the install, order the products of your choice and see that everything goes as smoothly as possible. My motto "HAVE SAMPLE, WILL TRAVEL" My tag line is "LET US CARPET YOUR CASTLE". The project involved removing very old carpets and installing laminate flooring. Start to finish this was a professional and efficient team. The communications were timely and the new flooring look oks fantastic.

Terrible experience! Discussed installing new hardwood and refinishing existing hardwood on multiple occasions. Even mention hardwood refinish in quote. Paid for materials, which took 2 weeks to arrive. Then install was delayed by another 2 weeks and the installer blamed on me. When i called the installer to discuss the installation and refinish timeline, he said he does not do refinishes. Bottom line Pat just told me what we wanted to hear, so he could get paid on the material sale. He is not in the business of helping people with their remodel... he is just a flooring salesperson. And boy did I get sold... buyer beware.

THE WORST HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I purchased laminate from PDQ Flooring and they arranged to have it put in my kitchen area by NW Carpet Installations. The planks were slightly different in a few of the boxes. The installers installed them anyway. PDQ Flooring did NOTHING to help me get new planks and have these re-installed. I had to deal with the manufacturer directly, and then the installers would not re-install the flooring even though they installed non-matching planks the first time. I ended up purchasing new flooring elsewhere and paying to have it installed AGAIN. This was a disaster!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND PDQ FLOORING!!!

I am not able to rate the work quality as the work has not been done. I am left , by Pat, with no installer or even name of where to get one. When I questioned this I was told they were very busy & they were not always happy to do small jobs (my flooring is for my bathroom) Pat was very pleasant. His estimate for the total job left me owing over $150.00 more than he said . He delivered the flooring quickly. I believe he meant well but I am 80 plus years old & don't need any problems of trying to find someone to do this small project. Any suggestions? M.L.B. Olympia, WA

Overall a good experience. There was an issue with the original measurements taken and the materials purchased to complete the job. Job was completed quickly and after nearly a year the floor is in good shape still.

I hired Pat to install LVT flooring and they laid the flooring and the problem is we ordered flooring for house and then we decided to change some of the flooring to carpet and Pat said that can be done, the project was completed but and we should have received a refund for 3 rooms as per Pat agreed to, and Pat only gave us a $1300 refund and it should have been $3000 based on the square footage and also the carpet is cheaper than flooring that was ordered

These two installers really knew what they were doing!!! We received the right product and the flooring was installed beautifully!!! So very pleased. It couldn't have been done better. One of the installer's wife had a heart attack and we were asked if we could postpone installation for a couple of weeks. Boy are we glad we waited!!!

We were contacted by Pat who is a great guy. He's very down to earth and easy to deal with. The man who actually did the work (I can't remember his name now) was very professional and no nonsense and worked steadily until the job was done. It took about one and a half days but the flooring looks beautiful and both I and my wife are highly satisfied. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to put in laminate flooring.

We were very pleased. Customer Service is fantastic! when things go wrong (via manufacturer etc.) he really advocates for the homeowner; and, makes 'the process' as 'hassle free' as possible!

Although the initial measurements were not completely accurate I received prompt communication and resolution that satisfied my tenants and I well. The flooring turned out great and the price could not be beat!
